important demi portrayal update:
so idk if y’all saw, but i did post demi’s insta story about how they’re no longer california sober and are now going to be fully sober. due to their previous posts that was leading up to this news, i’m pretty sure demi has been having a hard time. relapsed or not, i am not them and i have no idea what demi is going through.
with that said. for my portrayal of demi, i will not be relying heavily on surrounding them with this new sobriety for plots or anything. i feel that is disrespectful and distasteful. i will mention them doing their best and starting this new life of sobriety. but i will not be writing any threads, para, or self para that is solely based off it. to be exact, i will not be writing them suffering or relapsing. i am not demi lovato and i will not pretend to be nor pretend to know what they are actually going through. it doesn’t feel right and i want to be as respectful as i can be.
i felt that this was important to write so thank you guys for reading. i hope this all made sense.
