Yesterday and today, I made the best decision I’ve made in months. I quit the band that was making me hate music. I continued to talk to one member because I thought I had made a friend, but I realized I was wrong today when, after telling her I would not be rejoining because I would get physically sick thinking about going over there, she unfollowed and blocked me on all social media.

And I’m glad she did.

I never thought I’d be glad to lose people, but I feel like some of the anxiety-inducing things have been taken from my life. Things can only get better.
