And Beyond is a project developed from my fascination with outer space, the universe, and its beautifully violent cycle of birth and death. (artist statement)

"According to legend, Alexander the Great had heard reports of a particular philosopher who professed a strange sort of wisdom. Owning little more than the clothes he wore, this man lived in the open in cities such Athens and Corinth. At night he might sleep on the ground, or in porticoes or the entrances of temples, while during the day he wandered about, passing remarks about the people he met and the foolish things he saw them doing." - William Desmond Droeee: EA-1, Ableton, CZ-1000, guitars, vocals.
Can a clock be useful if it hides the very time? Designer Sejoon Kim certainly thinks so with his Red Dot winning design, the Vague Clock.
In todayâs world, we are bombarded with so much information that can increase stress in our daily lives. Time can certainly be one of them and unnecessarily âpressâ people. Vague Clock designed by Sejoon Kim from Korea is a playful twist on that very idea and reveals the time only when the user presses on the clock.
Certainly not quite practical, yet the very idea of thinking time as a distraction that should only be revealed when the user wants to read it is very interesting.
