Let's get one thing straight- I love weird prints. There is nothing better to me than something unhinged and a bit kooky. At first glance, this print doesn't seem all that weird- just some bird cages right? Guess again! While there are indeed birds in those cages, there are also girls! Lots of tiny girls in cages! How romantic, right? Perfect for Valentine's Day!

All things aside, this dress is the picture of romance. From the design to the print, it has a certain softness about it that really speaks to my inner romantic. Although subtle, the soft, delicate print is beautifully illustrated. I'm personally a big fan of the ornate bird cages. Filled with flowers and little birds, they remind me of a fairy tale. I feel like BTSSB often does these soft and pretty prints that blend classic and sweet perfectly, capturing a sense of romance and fantasy. I will say, the print being so subtle makes it blend into the dress a bit, making the details harder to make out from a distance. This may be the only drawback of such a soft illustration- you really have to be up close to appreciate it.

The actual design of this dress, as mentioned in its name, is extremely princessy. The first and most obvious princess point is then split at the front (I couldn't think of the name for this but if you know, please tell me!). Framed by ruffles and bows, the split really makes this dress feel decadent. The chiffon peaking out the bottom is sooo adorable and delicate. I'm a big fan. I'm also in love with the pearl details in this dress. The little buttons on the front are both elegant and cute, as well as on the waist ties. I'm a sucker for pearls! What could be more princessy than that? What am I saying, there's also all the lace! The bodice of this dress has some really gorgeous lace detailing. I love the way it falls delicately from the neckline and straps, and the little ruffle in the middle under the buttons is extra cute. The ribbon adornments on the bodice add that extra bit of romance to this dress as well.

From the slightly weird but beautiful print to the gorgeous design, this dress is a winner in my eyes. It's subtle but has so many beautiful little details that it's completely stolen my heart!

Adorable but elegant! I'd give it a higher score but I think it could be maybe slightly less subtle against the dress to make it pop a bit more.

Oh! Kittens! Flowers! Stripes! Bows! This dress really has a lot going for it!

The print of this dress is obviously for cat lovers, first and foremost. We have the adorable and slightly, how shall I put it, creepy looking little kittens adorning the hem, their wide eyed stare peering straight into your soul. For me, that's a plus! It's like they've caught you doing something naughty and boy are they here for it!

The kittens are accompanied by some really sweet motifs- flowers, bows, stripes and pearls. This dress has a real elegant cuteness to it. Although the print is somewhat simple, the combination of the daisies and the cats is very charming. The bows and daisies raining down the print make me think of a spring celebration!

The themes are reflected in the details throughout the dress too! On the straps and waist ties we can see cute little daisy buttons with a pearlescent finish on them. The daisy theme is carried through to the lace, which we can see around the neckline of the dress. The lace details here are particularly adorable to me. The little sweetheart neckline and thin straps are really accentuated by the ruffled lace, giving it a delicate and sweet feel. It's certainly simple, but I think for this dress it works. The lace around the hem is nothing to scoff at either, featuring cute little bows with Angelic Pretty's monogram. To further tie in the bow theme, the bodice of this dress has two bows- a smaller polkadot ribbon bow at the top, and a nice big daisy adorned bow at the bottom. The bodice is kept relatively plain other than the bows, however I think this was a good design choice given how busy stripes can be.

Although the design of this is overall somewhat simple, one of the most interesting features is the colourway. The pink and mint are pretty expected, but the lemon yellow and blue seem a bit unusual to me! It's not like yellow is completely unseen in lolita, heck, AP has plenty of yellow dresses, but the combination to me is quite unique and bold, and maybe even a bit unexpected for a dress featuring fancy, flower adorned kittens. It reminds me of lemonade in the best way possible. In saying that, my personal favourite colour would be the mint, but that's because I'm a sucker for mint, lavender and pink. Who can blame me?

Overall, I like this dress a lot. The simple design is made up for by the print and cute details throughout. Would I die for this dress? Maybe not, but I would die for those creepy little kittens!
