There's a very thin line between Dan Heng's dreams and his memories. Sometimes it's easy to tell the difference. Other times he sinks into sleep and when he wakes he can't tell what was real and what wasn't. There's flashes of happy things, like warm laughs and soft embraces. There's flashes of terrible things, like blood seeping from between his fingers, and the icy chill of chains against his skin. In the middle of it all, is a ghost. It's a horrible thing, being in love with a ghost.
