to explain better than what’s written below -MackLane were in the student section at Beanpot vs. BC. People were chanting for them instead of BU and both of them were obviously mortified and hadn’t thought that plan through. Lane was having a breakout season and Mack was a #1 and they had them on the tron and stuff. It definitely wasn’t intentional. They both have bothers in the team. They got the BU chant going and then they had to go sit in the private boxes with Will and we never saw them again.

Mack isn’t the type of guy who wants all the attention on him, on the contrary. They just didn’t expect it to blow up like that, but that day was incredible.

As for Shoulder Check, if you think about it along those lines, it would bring so much visibility to the cause and the event, which is a great thing! But I don't think it's gonna happen.

I am not totally sure how exactly he fits in there but the one guy who always posts clips of Mack and the others training tags eldhockeybc as well as coletoddhockey.

Cole Todd is a known Celebrini family friend and Mack’s been training with him for years. He went to Mack’s draft in 2024 and someone else said he even goes to Sharks games to support him (although I personally haven’t verified that one). So yeah, just an interesting little snippet I thought

I don’t think Mack shows up for Shoulder Check because it takes attention away from the other players working for free on the ice and that’s lowkey rude and not very thoughtful. Although him and Lane did it at Beanpot so who knows. Will wearing his USA hockey shorts to show he’s not Canada down lol. How many pairs of those do you think he has? Or is it just one pair? Why does he not have clothes?

I don’t think Mack is going to Shoulder Check either, but tbh it would be cool to see him there, supporting the cause, bringing even more visibility to the event, and watching the BC line play (sensitive topic), but I don't think he'll go.

Interesting about the two training session! I don't remember who or when, but one of the BC boys said earlier this summer that they were a group of guys with this like, standing skating thing, where they met around 12ish to skate everyday. Maybe they had a "private" sesh with a coach (the black jerseys) and went skating with the boys (sharks jerseys)?

Very interesting, right? Let me point something out, they trained in two different places:

1 - Kaivo Hockey - Interactive Training System (the black jersey). In fact, you can watch a video from today's practice here.

also, it’s so funny to me how after weeks and weeks of people talking about Mack’s “brand loyalty” for wearing the Bauer Team Canada hat we now see Will and he’s wearing a ccm tarp. Like truly match made in heaven!

collectsbatman seems to announce whenever a well known nhler joins the training sessions so i do believe today was will’s first day training or else he would’ve said something yesterday (he did the same when mckenna, sam, misa, and ect joined)

also it’s not uncommon for players to switch jerseys depending on what drills they are doing and what teams they get placed on while training

1. Patriot Will Smith leaving the US to go all the way to Canada to train with his boybestfriend and the rest of the Canadian gang.

2. Him doing all this less than a week before the BC line reunion at Shoulder Check.

3. How is the dynamics going to work? Is he staying in Canada until Shoulder Check?

4. How was the reunion? Did Mack pick him up at the airport? Is he staying at Mack's house? Are we getting a Celebrini family photo with Will?
