"Calculus is the easiest subject, though."
"You must be amazingly smart, then. Are you taking calculus right now?"
"Hm. What classes are you struggling in?"
"Ehh, mostly calculus... I'm not too good with numbers."
‘“Really? Those will be easy.”
"You serious? They're gonna be killer for me..."
{♫} Oh, so that’s what Momo had forgotten.
"E-Excuse me, did you just say ‘final exams…’” Crap, I haven’t studied at all!
"Yes... Unfortunately, I did..." Ah, yes, another student in pain... Moon Young had been so preoccupied with training and going to the gym that she'd forgotten. Yeesh, things were harder after moving from a fighting school.
"We still have...two months? I hope? But this is when the teachers start cramming things down our throats, ugh..."
"Final exams are coming up..."
Casually opens a lunch box and uses her hands to wave the smell of chicken at the boxer.
"Is that… It can’t be…!"
Cackles in the background.
"Dal Dal..! Dal Dal, don't tease me!"

"Is that… It can’t be…!"
Rumors.
He had heard all sorts of things when he had gotten back from his business trip. Said things made him slightly angry so he headed off to the nearest gym that he knew had a boxing arena. Taking in the scent of sweat and fun, he smiled to himself.
It had been way too long since he had been in a place like this, boxing for fun instead of being a professional. Looking around, he noticed people doing other things before he found the room where the arena rested. Walking to the desk, he got the right change of clothes and boxing mitts, slapping them together when he got them on.
He watched the ongoing match, blue hues dancing across the stage as the two went back and forth, his nod showing he approved. Their methods were good and eventually, one became the victor. Clapping his mitts together, he grinned before the two exited to shower and he hopped onto the stage.
Now, he just had to see if anyone would challenge him.
Moon Young had been observing for a while.
A lot of the people who came in to compete just for recreation or plain-old fun actually showed some promise. They had the basic skill to be able to become fierce competitors, which brought a little glimmer of hope into the rosette's heart. Since returning to Toshi City, the gym had once again become her second-home, but this time around she was looking for some serious boxing commitment from other citizens.
Her first goal was to start a boxing club at Toshi Academy, where she was being schooled currently. Scoping out any students that came by was her best bet to make contacts. After all, there was a minimum member requirement to meet.
Moon Young clapped her mitts a few times as the previous match ended with a sharp twang of the judge's bell. Fired up from watching since she arrived, the Korean was ready to get in the ring herself and strut her stuff. Sure, she'd gotten to pummel a sandbag the past few weeks, but now that she was happy with her progress since taking a break, it was time to fight for real. So, in unison with the brunet, Moon Young pulled herself up onto the ring between the ropes.
Upon laying her eyes on her opponent, Moon Young grinned and gently tapped her mitts together, meeting the male at the center of the platform.
"Haven't seen you around here before!" she commented, offering her mitts for him to touch before they began. "Give me a good, fair fight, okay?"
"We really need to get a swim team going at school."
"A boxing team, too. It's like this school only cares about soccer and basketball. Yeesh."

Warm sunshine was lighting up the park. Though there was a soft breeze that offered a refreshing coolness when Moon Young was resting, she appreciated the respite from cold weather. It gave her a chance to hang around outside in peace.
The rosette was stretching on a bench, her foot placed upon the seat and her hands pressed to the top of her knee. She lunged forward just slightly to stretch her muscles, releasing a soft breath as she did so. A few laps around the park should be a sufficient cardio warm-up before she headed to the gym.
However, as she pushed up from her lunge, the muted sound of something soft bundled up bouncing off of the pavement came from behind her. Bringing her foot down from the bench, Moon Young peered over her shoulder and spotted a wallet on the sidewalk.
Someone was already walking away, preoccupied with something in their hands. They probably didn't notice that they'd dropped their wallet. Hurrying to scoop it up, Moon Young called out to the stranger.
"Excuse me!! You dropped your wallet!"

What the hecko it’s Moon Young..o.
"I’m here on family business." more like permanent. "I never knew you were here as well Moon Young..How come you are, anyway?" she’s super happy to see you really pal.
"You didn't notice that I moved away? Yeesh, are you really that wrapped up in YK? I'm hurt..." Turning her head away, Moon Young huffed dramatically. "Guess I really don't have friends!"
...It only took a moment for a grin to spread over her lips. Big deal, big deal. "I moved here for boxing purposes! My old man's gym was getting kinda stuffy and since the League is over for now, I decided to take a leaflet out of your book! Explore the world!"

According to Ava, there were two ways people viewed her: either they pitied her, or they hated her. Maybe both at once. She could clearly see the first option in the other’s eyes- it had been displayed towards her so often that she had been able to read it very easily. Maybe… Maybe this week wasn’t going to be as good as she’d hoped.
"Earning the beads quickly? So you’re a social person, huh?" she remarked quizzically, her eyes following the girl’s hand movements towards the cafe behind them. Oh, that one- she’d been there before, actually. They had nice cheese bread.
"Oh, I’m Ava. Sorry, I didn’t introduce myself."
"Yeah, you could say that," Moon Young answered promptly. She never had trouble getting along with the Average Joe. So long as people treated her kindly, the pinkette could talk with and hang around just about anybody. If they had a good heart, they were a-okay.
It was too early to tell about the girl -- Ava's her name, gotcha -- but so far, she wasn't rude or anythin'. Moon Young could warm right up to her in no time.
"You still seem a little nervous. Is everything alright?" Moon Young took a relaxed approach to the other's demeanor, smiling faintly. Ava's spirit deflated awful quick and Moon Young hoped that she hadn't scared it off.
Oh-- No way!! Is that Queen?
"Hoooiii~! Queen, what're you doing here? You could've called, you know!"

“Probably not. They won’t be stale but they won’t be made on the day."
Well, at least he was honest. Bringing up a hand to scratch idly at the back of his neck and then to pull his ponytail back arund to the right side of his neck, where it was supposed to rest over his chest, he fixed her with that peculiar stare again. It seemed he wasn’t very good at… not… staring. She had kind of cool hair any way. She wasn’t unattractive
“But the baker here makes new stuff every day; it just might not be Valentine’s related.”
At the mention of her moving back to the city, Kamanosuke raised an eyebrow. Who, in their right mind, would leave a place and then come back? As someone who continually travelled from place to place without looking back, the concept was entirely foreign to him.
She was quick to introduce herself, despite the fact that he hadn’t even asked her for her name, but he decided not to point this out. If he started upsetting potential customers outside, his Boss might call him back in from lunch early. That would be a complete pain in the ass. So, instead, he humoured her, holding out a rather effeminate hand for her to shake, should she want to. He wasn’t a fan of hand-shaking, but it seemed to be the general etiquette. He usually wouldn’t have bothered.
“Kamanosuke.”
Lee Moon Young. An interesting name. He’d remember it.
Moon Young had expected such an answer. At least the other was honest.
At the mention of the fact that the Valentine's Day sweets wouldn't be around after the sale, Moon Young gave the goods behind the glass a dejected look. She'd have to budget more efficiently later in the week. Maybe she mistook a few digits earlier this week? It'd be nice to be able to spare something. Perhaps it was time to look for a job.
Lifting her wine hues back to the cafe staff, Moon Young noticed that they were staring this time. Thankfully, it wasn't too aggressive this time, but something about it was still overbearing. She sensed that this person was the aggressive-type, but it was safer not to make assumptions. Still, she couldn't shake the feeling.
Not that she hadn't dealt with aggressive people in the past, but it wasn't an entirely pleasant thing.
"Nice to meet you!" Moon Young said cheerily. It was always good to make contacts -- that's what she learned from Queen. Making friends was even better, though Kamanosuke seemed more guarded if anything. Whatever worked, she supposed.
Though the fact that this whole time she spent staring, Moon Young still couldn't decipher the other's gender. It wasn't her business, but...y'know.
