I can’t explain to you in words what love is but I can tell you what it’s not. It’s not a ‘where are you’ text when you’re working late, it’s not 3 missed voicemails when you’re out with your friends. It’s not an unnecessary trip to a place you’ve already been, it’s not tickets to see his favorite band on your birthday. It’s not moving in together because it’s convenient, and it’s not staying because you feel comfortable.
