If done frequently, they will develop a mutation that resembles armor within their kagune." How was it that the teenager didn't know this? It was suspicious.

"Kagune are a Ghoul's primary weapon, and they're released from different parts of the body." She gestured towards her shoulder, "For example, if it came from here it'd be called an Ukaku. Ukaku's resemble a Wing or Wings. I haven't come across an Ukaku user with more than one, but I've heard they exist."
