Damian is hated because he wasn't a sweet perfect abuse victim

Damian is hated because he was reactive and lashed out because of the horrific abuse he suffered

He wasn't some perfect angel who accepted that everyone makes mistakes and he needs to forgive his abusers and only show them kindness

Damian has chosen to forgive those who hurt him, but he allows himself room to protect himself and prepare for his history with them. He shows mercy with self defence

And the DC fandom hates that escaping from his abuse made him struggle and lash out because he didn't understand what he suffersd through

He was just a little boy and yet he suffers from the fandoms mouth because he's exactly what happens to victims of abuse and not what people expect abuse victims to act like

I'm lucky I can afford to buy volumes, but there's many children comic fans who can only read comics online!!or just people who have no extra income!

I wish DC really discussed Jon's trauma of losing his teenage years,

I do like them going into his family legacy and pressure.

The way he's acting towards Jay is pretty obvious a sign of his trauma. I think a sense Jon's a little immature and struggling to face the truth

But I need Jon to almost be solo and figure his head out and confront what happened to him.
