Now walking toward the Olive Garden with her, he nodded along as he listened. “Kids that age always are though, aren’t they?” Damien never had any brothers or sisters growing up, but he’d always thought babies and children were adorable. Maybe he would have his own someday. “Strictly pleasure. I don’t write about my own events or use people I know in my books. It’s all imagination.”

“Fuck yeah, that sounds awesome.” He laughed, running his fingers through his hair, smiling. “A nanny? That sounds awesome. How many kids do you watch?” He asked curiously. Damien thought kids were adorable, but he wasn’t sure he’d ever have them. “I write porn.” He shrugged. “Erotic novels and whatnot.”

“Italian? I could always go for some pasta.” she suggested, her eye brows raising as she exited the dressing room before him. She obviously noticed the stares the two got but she didn’t care. Her face was smug as she quietly exited the store, making a mental note to not shop here for a while. Turning around once they were outside Cassie dawned a small smile, her arms still folded. “Cassiopeia Adler but please for the love of everything good just call me Cassie.” 

“Pasta sounds awesome. And breadsticks.” He hummed happily, the thought of them making his stomach growl. He walked with her with no shame, not caring that he’d just made a giant mess of two different dressing rooms. “Alright, Cassie it is then. And what is it that you do, Cassie?” Damien asked, beginning to walk to the street.

Once he was all decent looking, Damien held the door open for her, ignoring the dirty look from the man at the counter. “Well perfect. And what would you like to eat?” He asked. Personally, he didn’t care, he was just hungry and needed something in his stomach before he dropped. Something to drink sounded even better though, after losing as much fluid as he had. “Oh my, where are my manners? Damien Sect. And who might you be?”

Once her feet were firmly on the ground Cassie smoothed down her wine red corduroy skirt. smirking as he talked. “I’m a bit biased, this has been my only store hookup so there isn’t much to base it upon but it was very good.” she teased, finally looking up at him, giving him a small wink.

“Well, I’m happy to be your first.” He smirked right back at her. “We should do this again sometime. As for now...Should I let you get on with your day, or would you like to join me for something to eat?”

Placing a hand over his heart, he smirked back at her. “Wow, what a gentleman.” He joked as he walked through the door.

Grace chuckled and followed the man inside, taking this opportunity to check him out. Once inside she took a deep breath and smiled “I don’t really do coffee but there’s something about the smell of it that I just love” She moved where the line was, there was only a couple of people on it from what she could see “Have you thought about what you’re getting? I’ll be taking the large hot chocolate with double whipped cream, I really need some sugar” She licked her lips just thinking about it.

“The smell of coffee is amazing,” he agreed, smiling. Standing in line with her, he contemplated what he wanted. Usually he got black coffee, but today he wanted something else. “Uh...I think I’ll just have what you’re having. I’m not in the mood for my usual.”
