Renaissance Zine 2026!

Calling all DamiRae shippers, the 2026 DamiRae Zine is ready for your enjoyment on the pair's 6 year canonversary.

You can download it here for free 💕

While we initially planned to price these at $5 each and donate all proceeds to the Save the Children foundation, given the shorter length and level of interest this time around we didn't want to lock anyone out from being able to enjoy it. That said, this is a wonderful charity that could definitely use your support. Donate here if you can!

2026 Zine Cover Art Competition!

Hey friends and fans!

Sending out an open invitation for all DamiRae artists to participate in a cover art contest for our upcoming Renaissance zine!

If you'd like to throw your hat in the ring, hit us up on any of our social media accounts (Tumblr, Instagram, Twitter) and we'll provide the submission instructions. Our inboxes will be open from now until March 5th. You do NOT have to have the art completed by that date, just a sketch/WIP for the participants and organizers to vote on.

Once the cover is chosen, any runner up submissions have the opportunity to be included as concept art in the zine.

As a reminder, the title and theme of this year's zine is "Renaissance," with each story and art piece including that motif in some way (rebirth, phoenixes, sunrises, literal Renaissance art styles, etc).

Can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

The final product will be available as a digital download on 5/5/26 for $5. All proceeds will be donated to Save the Children, a reputable international organization dedicated to the protection and well-being of children all over the world. Last time we raised funds via Zine we were able to donate just over $1k to Humane Society International, and we're excited to see how much we can give this time!

We’re almost at capacity for this year’s zine, and we don’t want anyone to miss out! If you’ve been thinking about signing up—now’s the time. 💜

Our theme this year is Renaissance 🌹☀️🕊️—and we can’t wait to see how our talented fandom interprets it, whether through gorgeous art, powerful prose, or both. Think rebirth, revival, springtime, phoenixes, sunrises… or even something inspired by the classic Renaissance era or DC's Rebirth universe..

A special, exciting announcement to all DamiRae shippers! Coming soon in May of 2026, we’d like to present….

Our theme for this edition is Renaissance, which we feel is topical as we enter our sixth year since the demonbirds became canon. The theme can be interpreted literally (a submission in the Renaissance era style), something set in the Rebirth universe (which directly followed the New 52/DCAMU universe), or something that uses revival/rebirth motifs (such as Spring, reincarnation, sunrises, phoenixes, etc.).

How Raven Met the New Robin: Chapter 6

Lights. Camera. Trauma! 🎥 📸

Today on our emotional disaster docuseries: Damian finally caves and shows up on Gar’s dreaded podcast—because nothing says personal growth like agreeing to be publicly humiliated by your childhood friend in HD. But surprise! There’s an unexpected guest, things get hairy (literally and metaphorically), and let’s just say the emotional stakes are higher than Damian’s blood pressure. Meanwhile, Raven has the pause pause button hit on her whole life. Like, full-on buffering screen. Spinny wheel. Existential lag. You get it.

“No,” Damian repeated flatly—for the third time that week.

“But you said —” Gar whined, hovering like a desperate salesman with bad timing and a bottle full of snake oil.

“I said I’d think about it,” Damian cut in, not even glancing up from his book.

“Dude, come on. This is huge! I’ve got sponsors now. Real ones. Not just that weird energy drink that gave Rose hives.”

Little did Gar know: the begging? All part of Damian’s plan.

He had thought about it. And after a brief war council with Raven, Rose, and Jaime (who contributed nothing but sarcastic commentary and a bag of popcorn) the verdict was in.

He would go on the podcast.

But for a price.

“Five more slaps,” Damian said calmly, turning a page like they were discussing trade tariffs. “And I’ll do it.”

Gar nearly agreed on instinct—then stopped himself. That would bring the total to ten slaps. Five was bad enough. But ten? That was basically a war crime.

“One additional slap,” he countered, narrowing his eyes.

“So six,” Damian confirmed, without blinking.

“SIX?!” Gar squawked. “That’s not what I meant!”

“I’m still good with five more.”

Gar groaned, realizing too late he’d just stepped into another one of Damian’s conversational bear traps.

Damirae Week 2025

Day 1: Secret Dating

Damian has a secret date with Raven because he hates being interrupted by his family, so the invention, who had a new mission, gives him a hard-to-reach place and meets his family, and they go looking for him, while he enjoys his secret date with his beloved.

Day 2: Enemies to lovers

Raven, a heroine who belonged to the Teen Titans group, was tasked with attacking the Al Ghul fortress because they couldn't risk attacking from outside due to their security and would be easily detected.

The only way to enter the fortress was by opening portals without being discovered, and Raven was the one for this mission.

They hoped that Raven would soon open a portal and give them some information about the Al Ghul fortress, but it would be the last time they had contact with it.

Raven was observing every place and looking for any weak points, without realizing that someone was already behind her. Before she could open a portal and escape, someone grabbed her by the chin.

They exchanged glances; amethyst and emerald, without knowing what they saw, showed a sparkle never seen before in their eyes, thus beginning a story of enemies to lovers.
