Isaiah was on his way back to the apartments when seeing the other smoking while sitting on top of her suitcase, easily looking as tired as ever. The male wasn’t very good at interacting with others but he was trying to do better, which was why once he neared her, he awkwardly cleared his throat to get her attention, nervously scratching the back of his head once she turned to face him. “Y-you must be the new t-tenant. I’m in 504. Isaiah. You n-need help with that?”
her gaze flicked up, looking at the guy who approached her with an exhausted look on her face. she tried to give a smile but she could feel her body just screaming for a nap or something. “yeah. 104. i’m filomena,” she replied and looked over at her stuff. “that’d be really helpful. thank you.”
“I’ve seen this shit so many times, but it never seems to fail to get on my nerves.” She drawled closing her mailbox. Turning to the girl once again she spoke, “Filomena… That’s a lovely name.”
“amen,” she replied with a nod, tucking the envelopes she collected under her arm. there was a wry smile on her face as she gave an awkward chuckle. “thanks, uh. filla, or phil even, is acceptable, though. filomena is just a pain, really.”
