New piece on the table. Finally! It's been a busy summer and I've had a hard time finding my rhythm in the studio. I'm not sure I have it figured out yet but I do know that the only way to get there is work. So I'm working.

When I've been away, it takes a full day to straighten out the palettes and encaustic work table. I don't know what goes on here when I'm gone!

My sweet dogs travel to the studio with me every day. Ella, Jelly, BeeGee, and Misty snooze around me while I work. Here, they are ready to jump in the Element. Jelly rides shotgun, Ella is in my lap. BeeGee and Misty share the back seat.

Finishing with Macklemore and Ryan Lewis blasting. Monday mornings are good.

Percy is my companion in the encaustic room. He lives here - he's leukemia positive as a result of living in a feral colony. Now, his cat days are peaceful and protected. He's a wonderful studio buddy.
