RULES
Everyone and anyone can participate as long as they adhere to the rules.
All works must have a fantasy element to them! How you do that is up to you.
No reposting, please. All of your works must be original and created by you.
No pairings between humans and animals, please. (That should be common sense though, honestly.)
No ship or character hate. We want everyone to feel welcome to participate should they wish to and bullying will not be tolerated.
NSFW and extreme gore are allowed but must have the correct tags.
FAQ
How do I participate?
On the correct day, post your work. You can either post it to your own blog and tag it with #yoifantasyweek and/or #yoifantasyweek2017 and we’ll reblog it as soon as we see it. You can also mention us @yoifantasyweek within the post, or you can simply submit your post to us.
Will there be an AO3 collection?
Yes, there is!

What are the prompts?
The prompts haven’t been voted on yet, but we’ll have up the voting very soon. Prompts are structured around colors. Example: The prompt could be red/phoenix/apple/anger, and you would somehow incorporate one (or more) of those ideas into your work for that day. So you could write or draw a phoenix au, add the word “red” into a chapter or feature red in your art, add an apple into your work, put a character feeling anger into it, or anything else you can come up with. How you interpret and incorporate the prompts is very loose and completely up to you!
Can I submit early or late? Do I have to do all seven days?
We’d prefer you to submit your work on the day of the appropriate prompt, but if you found out about this event after it started and still want to participate, you’re more than welcome to as we will be accepting late entries. Feel free to skip days if you want, or submit multiple pieces for one day.
I’m writing fic for my entries, are there any word count restrictions?
No, entries can be however long you want. You could have a multi-chaptered fic, or write one-shots… Whatever you like!
What type of media are allowed?
Fanfictions, art, cosplay, edits, moodboards, songs… Pretty much any medium is acceptable.
What pairings are allowed?
Any pairings that you would like. Victuuri, Otayuri, Milasara, Seungchuchu, or any other pairing!
How can I become an affiliate?
If you are a mod for a YOI event/ship/character week blog and want to affiliate with us, please privately message us and we will most likely accept. No personal blogs or non-YOI blogs will be accepted. Affiliating with us means that we will link to each other’s blogs and reblog each other’s promotional/informational posts.
Yuri on Ice Music Week Official Announcement!
Love fantasy and fairy tales? Love Yuri on Ice? Then consider participating in Yuri on Ice Fantasy Week! It will be a week to create various works based on a variety of prompts, all centered around fantasy. Works can be anything from modern settings with fantasy elements to retellings of fairy tales to epic quests with mythical beasts. Basically, wherever your creativity takes you! We have 14 choses themes, all based on a specific color, and you can vote on the top seven that you would like to create for! The prompts are specifically designed to be open for multi-chaptered fics as well as one-shots, art, etcetera. Voting will open up in one week, and the week itself will be held in November. Please help to spread the word!
