ok so this is proper belated now but i’ve been so busy giving matty the surprise party he didn’t want that i haven’t had a chance to sit down and pour my heart out.

on the 10th of february last year, i married the love of my life. that was the easy part— our friendship spanning over a decade has, i’ll be honest, had its ups and downs but luckily enough we saw eachother through the hardest of times for the sake of having a future together. there was a point, early on in our career, that fans started to start talking about how matty was showing signs of buying a one-way ticket in to the 27 club. yesterday a now husband and father turned 28 and i could not be prouder of him. 

i have so much respect for anyone that can overcome their struggles with such an eagerness, but it makes it extra special that i got to watch my soulmate do it. if you had told me five years ago that i would be married to matty now with a daughter and a house in the country, i would’ve laughed right in your face. now, i couldn’t imagine what it would be like not having the romantic aspect of our relationship. we never realised before but it had always been like a second nature. 

i’m going off on all kinds of tangents so i’m gonna wrap this up but my point here is that i love matty healy-daniel with all my heart and i could literally cry over how proud he makes me every day. happy birthday, noodle.
