As extreme as this sounds, I cannot help but recommend actually putting in the effort to learn Japanese. As someone who is currently learning it myself, it’s absolutely shocking how much of your old life you can reconstruct just by learning the language you spoke. There are plenty of free resources online for learning Japanese, but I’d recommend this guide in particular. Happy learning!
As simple as this is, even dressing like your kintype can help a lot. Especially in the case of Nagito, as green coats are relatively easy to find, as are white shirts. I’m sure you could draw the red bits on yourself, too. If you’re into witchcraft, you could even cast a glamour on the clothes or a spell to induce a shift whenever you wear them.
As Nagito is the Ultimate Lucky Student, I’d recommend carrying around things that bring luck. Four leafed clovers, horse shoes, even a luck sigil if you’re into that.
Try doing things you used to do in that life. Listen to the music genres you liked, play the games you loved, perform the dances and sing the ancient songs of a world you remember so fondly. Every little helps.
