April has been busy busy. My group of 4 finally got its designated room where we can stay (till the end of the thesis) from morning till evening and study (with wifi!! Shock!). We already stock up on snacks, a kettle (for my non-coffee-lover self), a coffee maker and a Bluetooth speaker.

These first months are research related, we are digging up informations and datas from book and old thesis, and we are producing a couple of blueprints. Can’t wait to start working on a closer area.

I’ve been programming a two-days trip to Rome on Easter with my friend and we finally found a cheap bnb to stay in and we’ve booked our train. Really hope we found good weather, I kind of wanted to shoot a vlog there.

The group thesis thing is starting slow, our professor want us to attend a couple of conferences and read a couple of books before we start to work on the main topic of the thesis. The other guys have a different view on almost everything (different study methods, approaches to friendship and opinions on music, when we’ll have to spend all day in the same room wornking it will be fun).

We had a meeting with all us thesis students so we could listen to each topic’s thesis and in the end form a group and choose the one to pursue.

The topics were all about the redevelopment of small cities in the region or about the restoration of a specific building or area.

I’ve ended up in a 5 person group: one of them is my friend while the others I’ll get to know soon. Our thesis’ topic will be the study of the architectural stratification of this small mountain city and the urban requalification of an area of this city. Sounds simple but it’s a lot of work, nevertheless I’m finally happy to start this one last project!

This Sunday was for showing a very neat seaside city to two phd German students and to have a typical homemade Italian sunday lunch ✨ I am just a beginner to German so I could only talk in English to them, my friend spent a term in Aachen tho so she handled the German chats.

These days I am meeting a lot of new people and I’m trying this new (for me) mindset where I ask myself ‘do I like them’ or ‘did I said everything I wanted to’ instead of having ‘do they like me’ or ‘do they think I’m cool’ kinda thoughts.

Nevertheless I always ended up being the youngest of every friend group I found myself in, even this time 🙃

I’m finally done with exams!!! Kudos for me! The last one was Restoration and it was so damn hard, we had both an individual project based off the group one we did last year and the oral part. A lot of materials to study and so little time but I did it! Now I can go celebrating and not worry about a thing for at least one week 💫✨🎉

+bonus: face reveal I guess :) I was so happy I run to the bathroom to take a selfie ehehe

Days made of floor plans, other people floor plans, omelettes, museums to visit so I can get inspiration for my project, matcha lattes, textbook/articles on museum layouts, uni friends that prefers to study alone, reading books on sundays, emails, train delays, working on two different laptops, hot teas, waiting for bts online concert, floor plans again.

Spent the morning at the library doing researches, the books were heavy for a girl that didn’t do a single exercise all year. Then I went home, ate a healthy lunch, studied a bit of Japanese on my own, found a short Pilates workout for beginners and actually did it (and it felt so good that now I’m gonna have to insert more of this kind of workouts in my schedule) and ate focaccia for dinner.

Last week we had sunny and warm days and now I had to search for my plaid blanket to cocoon myself in, ah the effects of global warming.
