How many times have you visited Lunar Garden? It will be on view through November 5th. @visionaireworld NYC
"I have always been looking at ways of making architecture look as if it's in a state of movement. These works can provoke a very real and uncanny feeling and this is what I am looking for." This and other works on view at my exhibition at VDNH Moscow. (at ВДНХ)
@haroshi is the first artist to have a solo exhibition at @arshamfieggallery / Opens to the public October 11th
I made some early sketches of this piece more than 10 years ago. I refined it, and found ways to make it. The museum had to construct the room specifically for it. This work is on view at my exhibition "Moving Architecture" at VDNH Moscow through January 5th.
Traditional Japanese dry landscape gardens appear fixed and unchanging. The pattern is the same in many now as it was long ago. In fact the gardens are remade each day, the gravel is cleaned and the pattern raked. What seems permanent is actually ephemeral. In this new series of work, I have reversed this concept. The patten of the sand in my works is fixed and unchanging.
% Make Architecture do things it's not supposed to do %. My exhibition MOVING ARCHITECTURE is now on view @vdnh_russia in MOSCOW (at ВДНХ)
I will be giving a lecture on my work before the reception of my new exhibition at @galerieperrotin PARIS on October 14th at 15:00.

My next solo exhibition %The Angle of Repose% opens at @galerieperrotin in Paris on October 14th. / The angle of repose is the steepest angle of descent relative to the horizon that a granular material can be piled without collapsing. As with many other works in my practice, the expectation of gravity, the horizon, and the typical color have been shifted.

Have you gone weightless on my new website? www.danielarsham.com / I spent the last year working with the team at @squarespace to create an evolving index of my practice.
There is no illusion, it is right there in front of you. "FALLING FIGURE" Moscow 2017 (at VDNH, Moscow)
I work with what you already know. I subtle shift in your reality. My color gradient garden has been in different iterations in NYC, Rio de Janeiro, and Atlanta. Where should I bring it next? (at Rio de Janeiro)
My first Museum Exhibition in Russia opens tonight at VDNH in Moscow. 🇷🇺 The monumental exhibition will be on view through January 5th, 2018. (at ВДНХ)
I have created a zen garden of gradient color in Rio. It is designed on an axis to frame the iconic natural formations of the landscape. %color chiaroscuro% (at Rio de Janeiro)
