He was gone for 4 years, went to travel and resided in cape may, new jersey. Known resident of Morris; lived there for a few years, but not born and raised there.

“I can’t even begin to tell you how many students got angry with me because they received low grades on their recent test.” Harsh words from students was something that Daniel had gotten used to, granted he was a harsh kind of teacher but he would always give kids the kind of grade he thought they deserved. “If the younger generation actually took the time to study, they would be receiving solid a's, not d's and f’s.” He rolled his eyes and huffed, taking a sip out of his coffee cup that was freshly filled to the brim with black coffee. “God forbid they take five minutes to go over their study guide at night, or in, you know, a study hall.”

denver missed his childhood dog, the golden retriever he’s had since he was a kid. honestly, he couldn’t remember a time when zoe wasn’t jumping up on couches his father always told her not to jump up on, or snagging food off of the kitchen counters, or snuggling up close to denver when she knew there was something wrong. there were no retrievers at the pet store he currently walked through, but there were a few other dogs that caught his eye. he hadn’t come in with the intention of buying a dog, just wanted some dog time. as he was walking back to the small blue-eyed husky he’d seen a few minutes ago, the dog was already in the arms of someone else. “hey, uh – are you, um, planning on buying him? i mean, her. i’d really like to buy her if, um, you’re not.” 

“You seem a bit nervous or something just to ask me a simple question.” Daniel didn’t look up from the dog he had been petting, just kept his eyes on his, for now, animal companion. “To answer you though, no, I’m not buying this dog. She’s all yours, I was just browsing I guess.” He patted the dog one last time on the head and stood up, deciding now would be the best time to actually be decent and give the person that had come up to him a look. “She’s a nice dog, keep her that way.”

hello, petals!! I’m gonna introduce you to my bb that is daniel dalgaard (literally got his last name from gossip girl, no shame.) I also play audrey so like this if you wanna plot with danny boy here. Here’s a link to his connections page btw. (tw: mention of death)

* Daniel moved to Morris when he was twelve. He barely knew anyone but he gradually started to make friends, and of course, there were people who disliked him. He played lacrosse his sophomore, junior, and senior year. he was even team captain his last year.

*  Daniel never tried to hide his sexuality, he’s a proud bisexual, loves men and women. in his teen years, he went on a lot of dates, played the field, had a few not very serious relationships. he’s never been the type to believe in the love at first sight junk or the “soulmate” stories. he’s just the kind of person that if he likes you, he likes you, and if he wants to date you he’ll try his best. not saying that he’s never cheated because there was an incident or two in his past.

*  Daniel left Morris for four years. he got into a pretty serious drunk driving accident that ended up killing his best friend and the girlfriend that he had at that time. since then, he refuses to drink alcohol, or do anything of the sort, like drugs, etc. he already lives with a huge amount of guilt for what happened and he wouldn’t want to make a mistake like that again. he came back because of the horrible passing of the town’s mayor and sometimes being back making him a bit bitter.

*  he ended up making something of himself, becoming a high school English teacher. it wasn’t the job he always had wanted but he found himself drawn to it. he likes teaching things about the crucible, macbeth, romeo and juliet, things of that nature.

*  he can be very critical. he’s not afraid to state his opinions and tell someone if they’re being stupid. he likes to watch things from afar, not really participate in things all that much. he will though if it’s something that actually peaks his interest or he’s having a good day.

* He’s a very big coffee person, always drinking it.
