I think about Yoko Ono’s harsh truth a lot. Was this too brutal a quotation to include in a zine I made for 15 year olds? It felt exactly like something they needed to hear. It plays in my head at least once a day; it’s exactly something I need to hear, too.

This quote hit me hard. I was DYING. Dying at that time by living every day with a quiet lie. I loved a woman and I couldn’t tell anyone about how big that love was.

Since then my life got more authentic. So much truer. I don’t feel like I’m lying or dying, almost ever.

Also I want to tattoo this bunny on myself.
