Thoughts on Men's Swimwear
As someone who enjoys the beach, it’s hard not to notice the many women who opt to wear minimal, sexy swimsuits that conform tightly to their body, accentuate their curves, and often show off a little too much skin. In my opinion, this is great to see. Women have many choices when purchasing swimwear. Some choose conservative styles, while others clearly purchase with the mindset that they plan to flaunt their body and show it off. I say good for them. Ladies, if you enjoy it, go for it.
But… What if a man wants to do the same? Let’s see… The options are basically board shorts, or, if you want to be risque, you could purchase a pair of swim shorts with an inseam that comes to the mid-thigh. Mid-thigh is hardly risque in my opinion. What if a man wants to feel the same outdoor freedom and enjoyment that a woman does? Which is, hang out on a beach in a skimpy swimsuit, feeling the air, sun and water on your body? For anyone who enjoys the beach, this is a fantastic feeling. The problem is, unless you live in a country where small, revealing suits on men are acceptable, or if you’re bold enough to simply not give s s**t what someone else thinks, you’re limited to boring old board shorts.
Why is it that it’s acceptable, and often encouraged, for women to saunter around on the beach in a swimsuit that often covers less than a bra and panties. But, if a man was to choose a similar style, they’d receive odd glances, perhaps be ridiculed, or passed off as gay. Being passed off as gay, by the way, is a narrow-minded insult to gay men. While it’s probably true that more gay men wear brief swimsuits than their heterosexual counterparts do, there are plenty of gay men who have no interest in minimal beach attire, and plenty of heterosexual men who do.
For any man who has ventured to a secluded beach for the purpose of wearing a skimpy suit that leaves nothing to hide, then feeling the air, sun, sand and water on their body, you know how great it feels. It’s the best type of beach day. I envy women who have this luxury, and I wish men could share it too. Maybe those of us who wish should just start doing.
Hell yeah! Freeballing everyday!
