Duchess had decided that today would be a very good day to have a walk in the woods. She had her backpack with her usual choice of sketchpad and pencil, a water bottle and some snacks.

She had driven to a new place, a place that she heard of, but had never been before. It didn't take her long to get lost.

Just when she thought she was probably going to be lost forever, a cabin came into view. Thanking whoever would listen, Duch ran up to the door and knocked.

Dante looked up from his spell book, confused on who was in the middle of the woods and knocking at his door. He left his book on the table and walked over to the door, opening it.He looked at the human at his door “Hello?”

“I’m, so sorry to disturb you.” Duchess began, relieved there was actually someone here. “But I seem to have become hopelessly lost. In the woods, not life. Heh. Anyway. Do you have a phone I could borrow, or a map to show me the way out? I have no signal on my phone, so I haven’t been able to use my map app.”

She held up her phone, showing him the dead signal bar.

“I don’t have a phone but here’s a map” He hands her a map that he secretly magicked behind his back “why are you in the middle of the woods?”

“Oh, thank you!” Duchess grinned, looking at it. She looked up at the question, “Oh, I was just, looking for inspiration, thought a walk in the woods would help. Wasn’t really paying attention…”

She looked down at the map again. “Um..do you know where we are?”

“Right..” Dante points to where they are on the map “There” (sorry i forgot to switch accs)

Duchess nods, looking over the map. “So…do you live here?” She asked. “Or is this just your holiday home?”

“Yes, I live here” not sure what else to say, mostly wanting her to leave as he doesn’t particularly like humans

“Oh cool.” Duchess smiles at him, then looks back at the map. “Ok, I think I’ve got it from here, thanks.” She turns to leave. “Bye!”

“remember to bring a map next time” smiles a little, a rare thing from him “Goodbye, human”

“Technically it’s mutant.” Duchess said, smiling at him. “But thank you, I will. Bye.” She gave him a little wave, and walked away.

A mysterious cloaked figure stands in the middle of the woods at midnight, infront of a glowing blue pond. Looks around to check if anyone is there, his face blank, doesn't see anyone. He jumps into the pond.

Scott was walking around in a dark forest without a flashlight because he's reckless and never backs down from a challenge, but like last time he regrets that decision.

As he was walking he saw someone fall into the lake, and last time interacting with a random person was bad idea. So this time, he decide just to wait for the person to leave the lake and see if they were okay from a distance afterwards.

"Jeez Louise, why is it always me seeing suspicious people at like 2am, just because of the dumb dares I always get. This is the official the last time I'm playing truth or dare."

He waits a bit before realizing the person wasn't coming up.

The hero in him forced him to walk closer to the lake and when he got to the slippery edge, he looked into the water.

He thought he saw something and leaned closer, only to slip and fall into the lake.

When Scott arrives in the fairy forest, the cloaked figure had taken his hood off, his eyes were red, his hair black and his skin deathly pale. Sees Scott but doesn't pay any attention to him, he doesn't know everyone who lives in this world after all.

Scott scrambles to his feet and sighs as he face palms.

“Gosh dang it I’m dead. I drowned and now I’m in limbo or something with an extremely pale and deathly looking child. I finally get why everyone says Jubilee’s the one with the brain cell or maybe this is just all just a really weird fever dream hmmmmm.”

Dante rolls his eyes and walks over "You're not dead, idiotic human, and I'm not a child."

“Dang it, I thought the universe finally got me this time. Also I might be dumb sometimes but I’m not idiotic.....like 75 percent of the time. Also don’t be rude to your elders, kid”

He has an annoying little grin on his face after his last comment.

"All of you humans are idiots and i told you, I'm not a kid, i am 900 years old. So i am your elder" blank expression

“Well do you need me to help you cross the road or something, old man? And wow 900 years of life sounds pretty....time consuming ha”

He laughs before putting his hand out for Dante to shake it.

“I’m Scott by the way.”

Stares blankly at Scott and shakes his hand "Dante"

“So, what even is this place?”

"The Fairy Forest" he says like that explains everything

“Fairy forest? So like... Narnia?”

He then dramatically gasps.

“Are there dragons?!”

Rolls his eyes "Yes, there is dragons. You might want to be quiet, people here don't like humans much"

“So all I just can’t look like a human to survive? Also I’ll help you with whatever you need if you take me to see a dragon!”

"We're not like humans, we don't kill someone if they aren't like us. and I'm not taking you to see a dragon"

“Yeah we can be trashy sometimes but I actually like us. We have charm sometimes, so come on man and let me see a dragon! I promise I won’t mess anything up and I’ll leave you alone!”

“Woah I’ve seen quite a bit, but this is pretty rad.” Jubilee walks over and sits next to Dante her eyes alight with curiosity.

Stares at her, looks a mix between shocked and scared. He doesn't say anything, too scared that if she sees his fangs she'll try to kill him.

“Hey dude you alright? Sorry if I scared ya! Although I’m probably the furthest thing from scary so you don’t gotta worry about me.”

Looks down to hide his fangs "uh- no I'm okay.. sorry..."

She gives Dante a sympathetic look “well clearly you’re n-ahh!” She clutches her stomach in pain.

“What the hell is happening to me.” She says through gritted teeth which now had fangs coming in.

"Are you okay..?" Looks at her and sees the fangs "oh- did you- what happened?"

“I don’t know!” She groans through the pain.

“It just started happening! I’m kinda freaked out about it.”

"this will probably freak you out even more but i think you're turning into a vampire.."

“A WHAT!” She says with barely concealed horror, was everything always this bright?

nods "yeah.. it'll be okay once you can control the cravings though"
