Reckon had been waiting for her iced coffee at the counter when a man walked up and started speaking. Noticing that the barista behind the counter wasn’t paying any damned attention, she rolled her eyes and sidled up next to him. “Ya can. Though their coffee is a lot better than their tea. Just sayin’.”
Dany nodded, mouth pressed firmly together as he considered the advice of the stranger. “Not sure I want the caffeine right now.” Not that coffee made him jittery like some people. Dany was even keeled even in the face of intense circumstances. “Though if it’s that’s much better I might have to try it.” A perfectionist himself, he didn’t want something sub-par if he could help it. “I”m not really into flavors and frills. Is it still good if I don’t practically make it a dessert.Â
