figured out the problem with some of my posts! I guess saving them as drafts causes them to create a blockquote, hence why some of my posts look indented and not moving on some peoples blogs. shouldn’t be a problem going forward :)

Why do you like darcy? I can't stand her

omg my first ask! lol so I love darcy's character for a lot of reasons. she was real. we're talking about a girl who was heavily into religion and living her life quite literally for god. yeah she could be horrible, like when she resented mia for being a teenage mother or just being incredibly judgmental in general.. but she transitioned after (unfortunately) being drugged and raped. I mean we saw this girl SPIRAL in the aftermath of this, understandably so. yes, what she did to mr. simpson was.. beyond words.. but we're talking about someone in a deteriorating mental state who had just experienced something traumatic. her body and her virginity, something so sacred to her, was taken by a complete stranger. as a psych student I've learned how traumatic sexual experiences can cause promiscuity, and it explains many of her actions in the aftermath of this. she wasn't in her right frame of mind! a lot of people seem to view darcy during this period as she was before this event. I've noticed many people ignore the impact such an event can create and how much it can change you and alter the way you view the world, yourself- we're talking about a mental breakdown.

but besides all this in depth stuff, I really just enjoy all the darcy-centric episodes tbh. girl kept me on my TOES! and I loved that even after her and spinner broke up, she still found a way to kind of be there for him during his cancer diagnosis (even if it was just to provide weed to ease the pain lol)
