[DarkChaud]: Chaud came across this Navi while drifting through the Net. It had been some time since he interacted with someone--the Dark Power within him had been his only company for the past... How long? He didn't know. Chaud zipped in front of the Navi, smiling that odd little smile of his, fists poised against his hips. "Well," he said, sucking in a breath. "Hello, stranger~" ((Hihi, nice to meet you. c: ))
Cache narrowed his eyes at the stranger. Technically, heâd seen his coding before, but heâd learned that you shouldnât judge a navi by their code. Still, he took step back and narrowed his eyes, âHelloâŠâ
He nodded a little, satisfied, and shook his hand.
Blues could learn some manners from this guy. Chaud still recalled the time Blues so rudely refused to shake Chaud's hand. Why, Chaud almost had to do something drastic.
But not this time. He shook Cache's hand firmly--no funny business, this time, except when their hands parted and Chaud shook his fingers, a loud pop! was heard when electricity jumped from fingertip to fingertip.
Ah, how wonderful it was to be in the presence of another again. Chaud practically vibrated with energy. And Cache wouldn't say know to Chaud not if he knew what was good for him.
Unstable coding really did not make things easy for Chaud, no sir.
"Would you like to do something, friend?" he cooed. "I think it would be a good idea. To solidify our bond." The words were followed by a cruel snicker. "What do you say?"
Then, out of nowhere, "I wonder what it's like to fall off the edge of the Net." He was, of course, referring to the abyss of data beneath some server platforms. Navis would just stream out, he supposed. No harm done.
((Aaand, I'm gone for the day.
I'll return tomorrow with my little nutter c: ))

"Tell me your name firstâŠâ Though he was still edgy, heâd relaxed a little. Despite the dark coding, this navi wasnâtâor at least didnât seemâmean.
Chaud's hand twitched when Cache didn't reach out to shake it. He continued to hold his arm out, a pleasant expression plastered onto his face, the kindness of it shattered by the tightness of the look.
"Ah, did I not say? Chaud, my name is Chaud."
The tightness disappeared, replaced by boyish charm. He waggled his fingers at Cache.
"Shake, friend?"

It took every digit in his codeâs worth of willpower to not punch this navi right in the kisser.
"My name. Is. Cache." He growled a little, "And if you keep treating me like a child, I will hurt you."
Now they were getting somewhere! But, oh. The cute little Navi growled. Chaud beamed at him still, unfazed by the threat. "Child? Nononono. No. I thought your hearing receptors were damaged, silly. Unless you are just rude, and do not answer questions as you are asked.
"But that's water under the bridge, as humans say!" He clasped his hands together, black eyes sparkling. (No. Really. Sparkling. This is what happens when he is starved of attention with his unstable coding.) "Cache, a pleasure."
He offered his hand to his newfound friend with a flourish.
((Dark Chaud is the my biggest little shit))

Cache had to muffle a snicker, âIâm here because Iâd like to explore the net outside of my hellhole of a home server.â
Chaud appeared aghast. "By yourself? What with your hard hearing, that must be dangerous." He tutted Cache, wagging his deftly daring digit drastically to the derecha de his face. ('drastically to the right of his face'. Chaud's need for alliteration required this post to come in two languages). He spoke louder this time--slower too--so that the poor, damaged Navi would hear his first inquiry.
"Whaaaaat... issssss... yoooooooourr... NA-AM-MUH."

What a rude reception. Here Chaud was, a mere Navi, giving another Navi a smile and a pleasant greeting and this was the response? His smile faltered briefly, turning into a pout for all of half a second before he beamed at Cache.
"Salutations! Dear stranger, I am Chaud. And what might be your name, and what might have brought you to this woefully wondrous side of the world wide web?" How fancy Chaud felt. So fancy, there was such a need for alliteration.

((Hello doll ; ;
Sorry for the absence, I lost my muse for these guys and have spent the last few months in the Ace Attorney fandom~
I'm happy to be back with my little nutcase<3
And how are you?))
"I'm ba~ackâ„"
A tall brunette walks into the area and looks around before looking to her PET. "Do you see anything Role? It looks like it was only a rumor... I don't see anyone." Her Navi, clad in green armor looks at the native data stream. "I'm not sure, but we should definitely follow up on any leads to where Chaud is. No matter what."
" âWhere Chaud isâ ? Oh, you mean me? Or another Chaud? I donât know which one youâre talking about," Chaud blabbered, leaping out from behind a tree, in front of Roleâs NetOp. He was taking his CopyRoid for a spin. Fully charged and ready to go, Chaudâs coal colored eyes gleamed with excitement.
"Do I know you? Yes? No?" He scratched his head, sighing. "I donât quite remember anymore. Too bad."
((Whoops ha- haâŠ. I messed up the names. *facepalm*))
"It. is. not." She gritted her teeth in anger. Who was he to insult Chaud in this way? She attempted to push his arm away, but when he did not allow it she felt a spark of fear.Â
"I guess youâll find me funny then." She said sarcastically. "I can netbattle with the best of them." She attempted to hide her discomfort, but she was finding it hard to breath.Â
"Oh, really? But, let me guess. You can NetBattle with them. You couldnât take them on physically."
Chaud loved being able to point that out. Did she ever think about defending herself outside of the Net? Probably not, Chaud decided. And he liked pointing that out. It made him feel superior.
"Whatâs wrong? Claustrophobic, I hope not."
"Youâre wrong" She said, her voice shaking slightly, nervous in what she was about to do. "Iâve been training in self defense since I was nine, because I wanted to be able to defend the ones I love." as she said this, she hit just where his balance was centered, carrying his weight just enough to slip out from under him and land him facing her, but free of the tree.
"and I can only do that if I can master myself first, my navi second."
When Penny hit Chaud, she might notice that he did not feel like a human, at all. The joy of possessing a CopyRoid.
He turned on her, eyes wide, smile plastered on his face. "Oh?" He sounded distracted. "Yes, I see." Narrowing his eyes, Chaud chuckled. "Another thing in common. Got it.
"You're smart," he mused. "One of my friends," he murmured, thinking of that one Lan, "wouldn't have gotten away from me like that. He never thought of the human aspect of battles."

She pushed away his hands and sighed impatiently. âIÂ mean that rich people shouldnât need my service, and I prefer helping people who donât have a million dollars to burn. Like Mr. Ijuin Senior. I work for both Blaze Quest and Scilab, and prefer the people at Scilabs.
And I see that look youâre giving me. We only ever dated thank you very much.â âHeâs never even held my hand.â She thought. âBut I love him just the same. Itâs not his fault he never had time.â He seemed to be inching closer every time she moved. She wished he would stop.Â
"Ijuuin?" he murmured. Puzzling. It didnât make much sense to Chaud there was a BlazeQuest owned by an Ijuuin, but who was he to argue about parallel universes to this girl?
"Oh, itâs still scandalous." He put his hands back against the tree, arms on either side of her head. And this time he gripped the tree; if she tried to move him, heâd hold firm, with strength equal to that of a fully grown adult maleâs.
"What did you do at BlazeQuest? SciLabs, too. I think itâd be hilarious if you were a NetSavior, like Chaud. You two would have so much in common, then! âŠOr, no, thatâs only two things."
((Whoops ha- haâŠ. I messed up the names. *facepalm*))

âHeh, nice catch.â She says, unfazed by his anger. âYou know what I donât like? Things that sound like threats towards my friends.â She nearly jabs him with an acusitory finger, but stops, hovering an inch above his chest. âMaybe I thought you wouldnât like my chosen profession.â Sheâd known heâd notice her lie, she should have been ready for the question. He was too close, almost nose to nose with her. She felt only repulsed, which was a glad thing. Even if he did look like Chaud. âI do whatever job is needed of me, that benefits the general populous, and most usually my friends. Iâm usually employed by S-â she stopped herself. âHigher class businesses.â She bunched up her nose in disgust, âbut I much prefer to work for those who actually need it.â
He watched her, eyes wide, vacant almost, observing everything. Also, checking the battery on the CopyRoid. There was plenty left. Marvelous!
"Oh, soâŠ" He cocked his head, putting his hands on either side of Pennyâs head, leaning his weight against the tree. "âŠyou work for SciLabs? I know my Chaud did. Is that where you met him?" But wait! Then that last bit didnât make much sense. âOr am I wrong?â He frowned. ââŠâbut I much prefer to work for those who actually need itâ,â he repeated. âWhat do you mean by that?â

'Penelope' rolled her eyes. She got enough of that from Lan and the others. She was put off by his stalking around her, so she moved promptly into position with her back to a tree, but he'd gotten so close she shuddered. It was obvious now that the only thing Chaud shared with this creep was a hairstyle and a name. He would never act so⊠snake like. Like he was coming in for the kill.Â
"Iâm with the- um⊠newspaper. I have an internship there. Yeah."Â
Chaud stood before Penny, a grim smile on his face, keeping only a yard between them. Just out of arms reach, he thought sadly. âThatâs a terrible lie. You should make it sound convincing. Going, âumâ and âYeahâ doesnât help. And I really donât like liars.â He moved in quickly, closing the space between them, leaving only inches. âI really donât like liars.â
