"Helloooo?" Cedric whispered, slowly beginning to turn a corner. They frowned, releasing a small sigh as they turned. To their surprise, their nose bumped into a cold, round, metallic object. In confusion they stammered. "H-Huh?"

Sys, who wasn’t paying much attention due to being in a panic of sorts, snapped back into reality when she felt something touch her chest. She looked down to see a creature she had never seen before.

"Uh… can I help you?"

As soon as the voice reached Ced's ears, their head snapped forward and up, their blank gaze looking towards where they believed the other's face was. A grin burst from their lips, an obviously happy light shining in their pupils and a joyous tone in their voice. "O-Oh my gosh, you're alive!" they squeaked. "I thought...I thought I was all alone here but oh my gosh you're alive!" 

"Oh! Um my name's Ced? What's your's? Can you tell me what you are?" and, in an oddly chipper note, they added; "I'm blind!"

Awkwardly, they stumble through the dimly lit hallway. Shuffling past crates and the odd item on the ground, Cedric's blank gaze was directed towards a wall. They paused, a frown evident on their complexion. "H-Hello? Is anyone there?" they mumbled their question, not expecting an answer.
