"Helloooo?" Cedric whispered, slowly beginning to turn a corner. They frowned, releasing a small sigh as they turned. To their surprise, their nose bumped into a cold, round, metallic object. In confusion they stammered. "H-Huh?"

Sys, who wasn't paying much attention due to being in a panic of sorts, snapped back into reality when she felt something touch her chest. She looked down to see a creature she had never seen before.

"Uh... can I help you?"

Acacius wanders down the corridor. His right arm hangs limp at his side, its claw missing and dried blood covering the stump. "Hello? Is anyone there?" Lowering his arm cannon, he brings the stump up to his head and wipes his forehead. "Damn, this place is quieter than I thought." His eyes glow as he begins to scan the area for any life signs.

Sys’ claws tapped on the ruined stone of the broken building. It had been a long time since she had even touched any ground beyond her room. Looking around, still shaking from the gravity of her revival, she nervously wandered the ruined halls. “Wh… What happened here anyways?” she muttered. She knew this place was where she was experimented on, it was… Fuse Corps right? Yeah, that’s right. But the building’s structure now was anything but right.

"Where even is everyone…?"

Acacius, hearing the voice nearby, raises his arm cannon again, and swings it slightly from side to side. He wasn’t sure why, but doing that somehow helped him to hear what was around the corner easier.

"Aha! I see you! Thank god, there’s someone else who’s alive around here!"

Sys jumped at the noise, yelling rather loundly in a tone that almost sounded like some kind of robot short circuiting, their voice having a slightly glitchy sound to it.

"S-stay awa̴̛͡y!̵͜" she yelped before accidentally letting out a blast of her electric energy and shocking the other.

Awkwardly, they stumble through the dimly lit hallway. Shuffling past crates and the odd item on the ground, Cedric’s blank gaze was directed towards a wall. They paused, a frown evident on their complexion. "H-Hello? Is anyone there?" they mumbled their question, not expecting an answer.
