Tormented by Her Warmth — An InuYasha Self-Insert Prose Poem

I wake in a miserable, tearful fervor,

As her memory plays a trick on my mind through my dreams.

I see Kagome Higurashi’s beautiful black hair,

And her positive energy that warmed up my youthful mind and body every day.

I cannot stand these tormenting dreams,

Teasing me of her presence every sleeping moment

Devoid of all living on that fateful day

Forever to be tormented by my human psyche

Of her warm presence in my life.
