I mad agree with this.
This reminds me, if y'all haven’t heard of therapyforblackgirls.com please visit if you need a therapist. You can search by mental health need, location/distance, insurance, etc. I believe there are some that provide a sliding scale payment method for those without insurance.
If you’re not quite ready to make the jump, there is a podcast you can listen to as well as articles and links to help answer some of your questions about mental health and/or therapy.
The purpose, as I understand it, is to provide a place where black women can go to find culturally sensitive therapy. Some specialize in family/couples as well.
Take a look.
For any black Women following me!
Taking care of your mental health is another important factor in your overall health. Fighting for good mental health is a fight worth doing, and is just as difficult, if not moreso, than physical fighting.
-FemaleWarrior, She/They
Especially with everything going on right now. We constantly hear how strong we are and it’s like no we can be tired, emotional, stressed too and we need to take care of our mental health. Here are some free therapy sessions that I’ve seen going around. Please share

some of yall really think politics is only about the presidency and it shows when you say shit like “i dont like biden so i wont vote” get a motherfucking vibe check and go vote blue so we dont have a conservative majorty supreme court for the next 30 years holy shit
wow there are really some of yall out here adding the absolute stupidest fucking comments onto this post huh!! the amount of people I’ve seen in the past day pull some shit out of their ass about “biden is just as bad as trump” is astounding tbh.
firstly, the central points of this post are that you need to vote DOWN THE BALLOT because newsflash the presidency isn’t the only election and that voting biden does more than just him it also allows RBG to retire and gives us our first female vp and a progressive presidential cabinet.
now for yall acting like biden and trump are the same im going to highly encourage you to do a few things. 1, go read biden’s policy platform. 2, go look at every politician and organization who has endorsed him… people like bernie and warren and obama… organizations like the congressional black caucus 3, turn on the news and go read up about how trump is sending in federal officers to brutalize peaceful protesters and how he threatened to send in the us military, and how he’s blocking the cdc now from collecting coronavirus data.
does biden suck?? uhhh yeah no shit that really isnt news. am i happy that biden is the nominee?? FUCK no. but im not stupid ignorant or selfish enough to say some asinine shit like “oh well i dont like biden so you know what fuck it trump can stay” ???? what are yall planning to do exactly, storm the capitol?? redo our entire political system in the next 3 months???? oh my fucking god. this is the choice we have right now. biden or trump. that is your choice. im not asking you to like it but im asking you to pull your head out of your ass and understand that every single progressive politician and organization you support is begging you to vote biden because they understand that if trump is reelected we will NEVER have a chance at creating a better more progressive system. yall want to have a progressive president in 2024? 2028? then go vote for biden so we make it until then. oh my god.
If trump wins the next election, we’re looking at a Conservative Supreme Court for potentially the rest of our lives.
We’re alreading removing the separations of Church and State through recent Supreme Court rulings. I want you to imagine future Conservative Supreme Court rulings on the following cases:
Religious School funding
School integration vs segregation
Limits on police brutality
Voting rights and protections
Healthcare coverage
Marriage rights for LGBT couples
Housing/job/healthcare discrimination on basis of ‘religion’ against women, other religious members, lgbt people
Immigrant rights and immigration rates
Affirmative action
Climate change and EPA requirements
Employee rights
Funding for family planning services
And that’s only the start of their list of demands. If they get those past, they’ll be back with even more extreme demands, and there will be no one left in a position to stop them.
So Trump has released a list of potential Supreme Court Justices.
Judge Bridget Bade, 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
Daniel Cameron, Kentucky attorney general
Paul Clement, former solicitor general
Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas
Senator Ted Cruz of Texas
Judge Stuart Kyle Duncan, 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
Steven Engel, assistant attorney general at the Justice Department
Noel Francisco, former solicitor general under the Trump administration
Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri
Judge James Ho, 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
Judge Greg Katsas, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit
Judge Barbara Lagoa, 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
Christopher Landau, U.S. ambassador to Mexico
Justice Carlos Muniz, Florida Supreme Court
Judge Martha Pacold, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois
Judge Peter Phipps, 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
Judge Sarah Pitlyk, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri
Judge Allison Jones Rushing, 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
Kate Todd, deputy White House counsel
Judge Lawrence VanDyke, 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals
A majority of those are Trump appointees.
I am reblogging this again, for reference.
These are the people Trump announced to replace RBG, before she even passed away.
Now, these are the people being considered for the Supreme Court to make it a 7 - 2 breakdown.
If Trump is re-elected, one of those people WILL take RBG’s seat.
They will help lead a predominantly Conservative Supreme Court for decades to come. Some of them openly opposed LGBT and Reproductive Rights.
I want to put below what AOC just posted on instagram today 9.19.20:
https://www.instagram.com/p/CFU6sUHn73X/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
“Voting for Joe Biden is not about whether you agree with him. It’s a vote to let our democracy live another day. That’s what this is about. We need to act in solidarity and protection for the most vulnerable people in our society, who have already experienced the violent repercussions of this administration. And the reason we need to do that is because yes, the political middle is willing to sacrifice immigrants; the political middle too often is willing to play both sides when someone dies to police violence. Absolutely. That’s why we need to show up. We need to show up, because if we don’t show up, those people don’t get protected. Because no one politician is the answer. No one president is the answer. YOU are the answer. Mass movements are the answer. Millions of people are the answer. I’m sorry to tell you, you’re not going back to brunch. We’re not going back to brunch. That’s not happening.”
I also would like to add some of the positions that Biden has taken which are ASSUREDLY NOT THE SAME AS TRUMP
Establish a national trace and test program for COVID-19 (something Trump has failed to do and thousands of people have died b/c of it)
Raise minimum wage to $15
Invest in Green energy
Criminal justice reform, grants for minority communities
Rejoin global climate accord (the Paris Accord)
Repair NATO relationships
Expand Obamacare
Undo the separation of children/parents at Mexican border, undo the Muslim Ban, rescind the limits on asylum, and protect the dreamers
Student debt forgiveness, expansion of tuition free colleges, and universal preschool access
And so many more
This is progressive, this is a start. No presidential candidate is perfect. Voting is about choosing the candidate that is closest to change you want to see. VOTE BLUE AND VOTE FOR BIDEN

soft reminders:
you have value even when you can’t get out bed.
you will always have inherent worth, unaffected by your level of functioning or productivity.
you are deserving of love, kindness and time.
you are worth the ‘burden’ of getting help and recovering.
