Shades of Cool II daughterofmikael
tyler-james-henderson:
It was a dark, stormy night in Manhattan, it’d been raining for hours now and the wet streets were empty for the first time since he’d moved there. Tyler was drenched in the rain but he didn’t care about the weather. He was over the moon that he’d managed to get himself a better job. After years of struggling to make ends meet for himself and his daughter, he was actually proud of his accomplishments. Although he knew it wasn’t going to be easy, he knew his pay check was going to make everything better at the end of the month. His new boss had asked him to start on Monday which gave him 3 days to make arrangements to find someone to watch his precious princess Emilia.
He arrived home 20 minutes later and left his wet coat, blazer, umbrella and shoes in the hallway to dry before he made his way inside his living room. “Princess, daddy is home!” He called out, a large grin on his face as his 5 year old daughter ran up to him. The dark haired man laughed and picked her up, his arms wrapped around tightly. “Daddy got a new job!” He said in German. His late wife was German so in honor of her, he spoke German to their girl at home. Emilia knew English as well which she spoke at Kindergarten. He turned to look at his friend. “Thank you for watching her today. I owe you one.” He said to Rebekah.
It was obvious her friend was in need of help. Most days, he ran around like a chicken with it’s head cut off trying to provide for himself and Emilia. Since his wife died Rebekah could tell he just kept busy to make the pain of losing her sting less. She had done something similar when she lost her mother. Thinking about it now she felt awful for not having sooner offered her help. What kind of a friend was she? Rebekah never knew Tyler’s wife but she’d only heard good things. The out pour of information from little Emilia tonight didn’t change her opinion either. It was clear she was a good women and Tyler, a good man. Rebekah did laundry, made dinner, and gave little Emilia a bath all before he got home. Her hair tightly pulled back into a slick looking braid as Tyler scooped her up into his arms. Looking down shyly, Rebekah tries to remove herself from the family picture. She believed it to be an intimate family moment outsiders shouldn’t be a part of. Most of the time it nagged at her that he had to go through all of this. Not knowing herself what it was like it have children she didn’t know exactly how it would feel or how she would feel about leaving her only child to a stranger. That’s when it all started to bubble around uncontrollably in her mind, leaving her without much of another choice.
When she felt his eyes on her she picked her head back up with a thin smile posted on her face, brows knitted sympathetically. “You don’t owe me anything,” Rebekah replied “me and Emilia here had a wonderful time, didn’t we little bit?” Her eyes fluttered over to the giggling little girl in his arms briefly before focusing in on his again. “If you wouldn’t think it weird of me, I’d love to spend the days with her while you’re at work. You know, until you can find someone more permanent.” She added in that last part as a whisper. Rebekah wouldn’t have minded being the permanence this little girl needed. Her friend, Tyler, needed. But she hated talking about it as it made her feel somewhat embarrassed. Like she was trying to interject herself into their lives or something and that’s not what she intended to do at all.

Free at Last || Rebekah&Damon
Rebekah had obtained her freedom at last. She could go out into the world and find someone worth spending her days with for the hundreth time without having to worry about what her brother would do had she happened to fall for them. It was a phenomenal feeling and yet, she couldn't get herself to go anywhere else without first going to Mystic Falls. There was nothing in particular there for her but she felt as if something were pulling her back. Rebekah decided against fighting this urge and made it to Virginia overnight. It wasn't a shock that she decided to first try her luck at The Grill but what did phase the original was the man she found sitting at the bar. Damon Salvatore. If anyone, Rebekah presumed she would run into Matt working a late night shift but seeing Damon made her think that something or someone had him off his bloody rocker again. In her opinion, this wasn't a bad thing but rather something she should definately be cautious of when approaching him.
The she-devil's high heels clicked as she made her way over to the bar and took the empty stool a couple ways down from where Damon was seated. "I'll take an appletini." Rebekah spoke loudly in hopes of catching his attention but made sure that her focus was directed on compeling the bartender. "On the house."
He gave her a smile which slowly turned into a smirk. “You believe I would not ask about Niklaus or his family? I know who you are, Rebekah, and I must say, you are even more beautiful than anyone has said.”
"Alistair. And the pleasure is surely all mine."
Rebekah honestly felt quite flattered by the man's comments but kept a straight face for quite sometime before lifting a thin brow curiously. "Did you get all the answers you were looking when asking about my family then sweetheart, or was this little encounter part of some bigger scheme to pump them from me later?" Regardless of what his answer might've been Rebekah wasn't going to refuse to play his little games; in fact, she liked a bit of spontaneity fused with danger. It was all the more exciting.
"We'll just have to see about that, Alistair."

It took thousand years for her return, but once she had made it, Mia couldn’t think of anything else than finding her family, the family she couldn’t talk to in centuries. When the blonde had finally found her sister, the girl that made her feel as if she was always looking into a mirror and now that she finally had this feeling again, she was worried that for once she was truly just looking into one. Hearing her sisters voice caused that tears rolled down her pale face as she nodded. “Yes, it is me.”, she whsipered with a weak voice.
Rebekah didn't hesitate to zip over and close the space between her and her sister; she wrapped her arms tightly around Mia's petite frame and just let herself wail for a good minute or two. "I can hardly believe this." The words came out muffled against Maria's fabric as Rebekah rubbed her face on her twin's shoulder to rid herself of fallen tears and makeup markings. "I don't understand." It began sinking in that this could possibly be for the worst; that Esther had broughten Mia back to persuade all her children into stealing the bodies of mortals. "How..why?" Rebekah couldn't contain herself but held her tongue before spouting off accusations.

It’s okay to like smut.
Liking smut doesn’t make a character a ‘whore’. Liking smut doesn’t detract from their other characteristics. Liking smut doesn’t say anything about your roleplay partner. It certainly doesn’t make them a bad person.
Liking smut just means they like smut.
Sometimes characters get the urge. Sometimes it’s fun. Sometimes, it can even be part of plot development.
So don’t be derisive of people that like to smut. It’s rude and beneath all of us to judge people just because some roleplayers don’t want angsty serious feels all the time.

The process of adjusting to this world as grueling one especially for someone to do on their own. She was trying to learn what she could but was still struggling with it. The doppelganger was sitting in a cafe trying to get a computer to work. She hit the side of the screen a few times. No matter what the kind gentleman next to her said it was not helping her find anyone that could help her.
Finally she became far too frustrated and quickly stood. When she stood she hit someone. Hot coffee seemed to pour over both of them and the woman backed away. “I am so sorry!” She started to quickly apologize. The apologies ended though when she realized who she had collided with. Tatia stared at the blonde in disbelief. “You are Elijah’s sister. You are Rebekah.”
Rebekah had been strolling along, enjoying her new founded freedom when she spotted someone eerily familiar in a nearby cafe. Curiosity took hold of Rebekah and prompted her to get a closer look but the moment she realized she'd gotten to close the girl stood from her chair and crashed into her with a burning cup of coffee. Thankfully, Rebekah wasn't a normal girl and the scortching heat of the coffee wouldn't leave marks on her flawless skin but considering it still burnt like hell the original let out a yelp and backed away quickly. "Don't worry about it." Rebekah wasn't usually so calm or understanding but the purity of this particular doppleganger had her reeling. It wasn't until after the girl recalled whom she was that she was certain of which particular shadow self of Amara she was dealing with.
"Tatia" Rebekah always believed that this women would one day marry Elijah and become like a sister. She had often dreamed about it and until this very moment she had forgotten what it actually felt like to be enthralled with a women wearing this particular face. "But how?" The blonde original couldn't get much else out on account of the emotional shock she was currently going through but it was enough for now..so long as she didn't start running.

Escapee || Rebekah&Jeremy
Rebekah wasn't sure how or why she'd woken up in her own body that day but one thing was for certain; she wasn't going to stick around until Kol realized he'd made a mistake and let her escape. Rebekah didn't bother finding Nik or Elijah before running as far as her feet would take her before she ended up having to compel herself a meal and a car to travel the rest of the way. It seemed unfair to leave her family in the midst of all the drama but without Hope there wasn't really any reason for her to stick around any longer. Besides, it seemed as if Kol had a grudge against her and she didn't much feel like facing it so soon after she had riddance herself of Niklaus' watchful eye. Mystic Falls. The sign was dimly lit by the street lights and it was then that Rebekah decided she would stop for the night and visit all her friends residing there. It wasn't anyone in particular Rebekah was looking to see but she was quite shocked at whom her eyes fell on upon entering the Salvatore boarding house. "Gilbert?" Perhaps things were going well for Elena and Damon..but if that was the case she wondered where the two of them currently were and how Stefan was feeling about all of this. "Where are the Salvatores? I'll be needing a room for the night and I won't take no for an answer."

"And I never saw him as a threat, Until you disappeared with him to have sex of course"
"I didn't think our little rendezvous meant that much to you, Damon. What're you going on about a threat for? Who said I slept with him?"
If I accidentally drop our thread it's not because I don't want to play it's because I'm a horrible roleplayer and 100% scatter brained. Never be afraid to message me to remind me it's my turn.
Freya could not help but just stare at the younger girl. As much as she wanted to look away or stare at something else it was impossible. This girl was one of her siblings. They were the people she had been looking for and after all this time her little sister was standing in front of her. While she had known Esther had other children after Elijah she had no idea one of them was a sister. When she was young Freya had always wanted a sister now one was standing in front of her. “I did not die then- that was what our mother did to cover up what she did. Mother promised the first born of every generation to Dahlia so that she could have fertility. When Dahlia took me she told father that.”
Rebekah tried multiple times to shift her eyes in a different direction as discomfort began swelling inside her at the realization of Freya's locked vision. Each time she failed. Rebekah had always felt she missed out on something special in having never experianced what it was like to have a sister. Someone who would be her friend forever and always. It was this reason in particular that made her stronger and more fearless but Rebekah didn't truly understand the reasonings behind who she was, she just pined for what she didn't have. "That must've been awful." Rebekah commented "If it were the truth" she continued on testing another theory before jumping to harsh conclusions and calling Nik "Don't lie to me, sister. You're here because mothers brought you back to try and help in her wicked plan to make us all human again." In all actuality it wasn't that dreadful a plan but Rebekah had no faith that her mothers intentions were good. "Aren't you?
