Ugh. *relaxes in his grip* Okay. Fine. I'm a lot rusty. My job doesn't exactly lend itself to beating people up on a daily basis.
"Agreed." She murmured, looking at the girl. She listened to her speak and swallowed, looking over her black clothes. She recognized her though, even if it was vague. "Ariel?" The blonde whispered, looking over her. They had come from the same faction, but gone seperate ways which wasn’t uncommon. "I’ll have to remember about not apologizing for feelings." She said quietly, wiping at her eyes.
Ariel compared the two of them, her own black clothes and tattooed arms against Aurora's pale, unmarked arms and blue clothing, only looking up when the blonde said her name. "You... you know me? How do you?" she broke off, thinking about how the girl could possibly know her, when a memory finally came to her. The girl in red and yellow sitting two seats behind her in a classroom, her hand in the air. "You were in Amity..." she voiced out loud, "before the choosing... You transfered like me..."

I—I, but I shouldn’t cry. I’m supposed to have everything I’ve ever wanted, so why do I feel so lousy? I guess I’m just missing people. I mean, I do know that I belong here. I love it here and I wouldn’t doubt that. But I also miss home. I guess I’m just not used what I’ve been exposed to. I’m just missing….people.Â

There's no such thing as shouldn't when it comes to feelings sweetie. Getting what you want is... complicated. I get it. I might be Dauntless now, but I was raised Amity. And I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss my family. I've got five big sisters and a father who I've barely seen since I transferred. Faction before blood is great in theory but I've never met anyone who didn't care about their family.
*lowers her head to meet her eyes* You don't have anything to apologise for. Never apologise for feeling.

Okay, so I haven't been training too much lately...*she struggles in the headlock a little* but that doesn't mean I'm useless. *she kicks a leg out stamping on his legs and trying again to wriggle free*

Don't know if you've noticed, but age isn't always a good thing 'round here. You're already past your prime Ryder. *headbutts him and flips them over* And as for ranking closer to first I think you need to check through the lists again. You can't rank closer to first than first genius.

Well... the Dauntless borns are already better fighters... but then I can't help but love seeing the newbies adjust and become Dauntless... I'll take the transfers. Assuming that's all cool with you of course.

You could always train the initiates with me, this year. Beat up the newbies and get cheered on.
