Kate raised her eyebrows. Someone who hadn't heard about her? Weird. "We've never met."

Eric + Kate || Late Night Training

Flipping on the light switch, Kate entered the room somewhat cautiously. Of course, no one would be in there in the middle of the night but she didn't want to wake anyone up either. She'd be unable to sleep through the night lately. Why, she couldn't be sure. Nightmares seemed stir her awake every time she closed her eyes. Jeanine was always the center of them, of course, poking and prodding her. She told her what a monster she was. How unloved she was.

A shiver ran down her spine and Kate hurried to pull her dark locks back. Without much thought, she grabbed a stack of knives waiting there and just started throwing. They each stuck, one after another, into the target. She wasn't sure at which point the tears started but she had to stop after awhile. She was sobbing too hard and couldn't control herself anymore. 

That's when she heard the footsteps coming down the hall. Hurriedly, she wiped the back of her hand over her eyes and just stood there. There was no point in running; she was caught. The very same leader who she'd expected to come stood before her and she did her best to put on a straight face. She didn't particularly like Eric... She thought he was a little too proud for his own good. Besides, Tobias didn't like him either. "I couldn't sleep," she explained, shortly.
