Dave got Tulip a while after adjusting to his new life. He needed a new constant in his life and a dog seemed fitting. His family used to have a Golden Retriever when he was young so he does know a thing or two already. When he saw the Corgi puppy in the shelter, no one was able to talk him out of getting her.

He named her Tulip after an abandoned fox baby him and Alexander found and nursed back to healthiness when they were 8 years old
