I agree, but I also carry this over to MOCING. Why just build it to stand there and do nothing? Make it poseable, give it gear finctions, build depth and character into it. Have some fucking fun man!

At first I thought this was a Dviddy moc from the photo editing. It’s a 1:1 match for his style of editing. Pretty interesting since it was only a year or two ago that you went on a rant about how Patrick’s photo editing distracts from the moc, as well as posting only one photo.

This design looks great, but I am wondering about those knees. That is a lot of plastic on some really small ball joints. This is why building digitally doesn’t work for figure building. Sure this looks fantastic, but once you actually build it you’ll encounter problems with gravity. This is why I don’t do it. Garnet is pretty top heavy so I’d be worried about how those knees and ankles are gonna hold up. The Mini Ball joints are wonderful additions to the Lego system but even they have their limits of what they can tolerate. I will say that they are better at holding weight than CCBS or old bionicle ball joints are, relative to their size and scale.

I am not aiming to build it in real life, so I don’t care how it will behave in real life. Your argument is arbitrary and doesn’t work for me since I am purely digital builder.

Okay, then stop selling you instructions.  Now if I understand this correctly, the whole point of selling instructions for your digital builds or having people pay for you to make digital builds is so that they could then build it themselves? But you don’t even want to back that transaction up with “it won’t be shit if you actually try to build this?” Well have fun with that I guess. Good to know that you can’t be bothered with reality.

Are my FTL instructions actually made in such way to be used to build real models? YES.
