Regret feels like a lump in your throat that you just can't pass. You can try to swallow all you want but nothing will make it budge. It feels you're permanently stuck in that dizzying feeling when you stand up to quickly. It feels like shaking that you can't control no matter how hard you try to be steady. Sorrow feels like wet cheeks and a runny nose. It feels an anchor is attached to your heart and is pulling it down to the floor. It feels like nausea that just won't go away. Pins and needles throughout your entire body. Knees bucking. Breath shortening. Love feels like the best day you've ever had. It feels like your favorite song is on repeat. You win the lottery and you're the luckiest person on earth. Love feels like it will never go away ; and then it does. Love feels like a memory that you just can't erase. Like the worst day of your life, but it never seems to end. Late nights torturing yourself with old memories that you can't let go of. Worrying over things you can't control. Love feels like regret. Love feels like sorrow. Love is beautiful. Love is dead.
