I'm one of the head instructors and owners of the Freestyle Fighting Academy (FFA). FFA started out with my brother Marcos and I, ten students and a dream. Now at over 1,000 students, we have grown to be one of the largest Mixed Martial Arts academies in the world. The Front Headlock is a simple, yet powerful way to control your opponent. It can be used to setup knee strikes to the head, chokes, and many take downs.

In today's video, I will show a simple way to finish the front head lock into a dominant position using a classic wrestling pinning hold - the Near Side Cradle.
