Although there was no Willy Street Fair in 2020, there was the Porch & Bubble Tour, featuring bands performing from a trailer pulled by the Bubblemobile through the Marquette neighborhood.

In order to prevent the spread of covid, the Orton Park Festival in 2020 was moved to the airwaves and online, featuring an encore broadcast of artists performing at an earlier Orton festival.

Marquette Waterfront Festival, June 13-14, 2020. Trying to capture the fairy tale quality of the Fools Flotilla, I turned to art nouveau illustrator Virginia Frances Sterrett for inspiration.

Festyland 2020. Since the five-festival phenomena took off a few years ago I have wanted to put Festyland on the map, so to speak. Here it is as a piece of magical real estate, with the various festies hovering above. It was nice to introduce the Sid Boyum mushroom sculpture to the club of neighborhood symbols.
