it is fall.. My favorite time of the year. I am a photographer. My name is David Roman attending Full Sail University in a Masters program in Instructional Design and Media. I currently work as a photographer for myself, at Apple, and at Bernie's Photo Center in Pittsburgh, PA. I will be using this tumblr to account my journey over the next 12 months during my time at Full Sail. I hope to learn many things in this program to use in conjunction with my other degrees in both Theater and Photography. My ultimate goal is to become a teacher in higher education. I would like to share images that I have taken and receive some feedback from anyone that follows me here on tumblr. I seem to continue to use my camera on a daily basis to create what I like to call art. I see myself in the future working to make different kinds of art using mixed media not just photographs. I see it including different sources of light, digital imagery, and video. This is the first 2.5 hours of my set at Viva starting at 11pm (the part most don't get to hear). It is raw and unedited-just cd players and a mixer. It starts out mellow with a couple of good sexy vocals layered with some good tribal drums, then picks up the pace with some current bouncy house tracks layered with world sounds (including a track influenced by my recent trip to Asia). Private mixes include my recent "Disco Inferno" Rihanna remix of "Where Have You Been", my Peter Rauhofer Tribute Mix of Paris Hlton's "Turn It Up" as well as several new edits and tunes.
