For the past month I've been working on the design of this dome being built at Madinah Masjid, Toronto. This has been one of the most challenging designs to implement, from the lengthy approval process to manifesting a complex 16-pointed star geometry on the interior surface with a radius shifting between 2 and 20 ft. I will likely be up on scaffold 60 feet up for the next few weeks completing the painting and calligraphic portion of the Project. Inshallah it will be a work suitable for the righteous space of the House of Allah. #givethanx #mysistenechapel #agonyandecstacy
