I had a C-section with my daughter! I felt so bad that my body didn't work probably. I had an emergency C-section. My daughter almost died. She now has severely hearing impaired and Austim. I have not forgotten Elisa Lam. It's still makes me feel so sad. I can't believe she died like that. I feel for her family. Mental illness is real. Not sure they should have made a documentary. I watch Unvanished last night. It was really sad how that couple couldn't cope with the loss of their child. It was debilitating for them. They were stuck. They killed keep their daughter alive in their mind. People need way more help than we give them sometime. We can't fix everything. PTSD was definitely a factor. I had to drop by while in LA. I've stayed at this hotel before. It wasn't very nice. I didn't know how bad it really was. I am really curious what it will look like once it reopens. It's been closed since 2017. Praying all the horrible things stop happening there..

The new Elisa Lam documentary (beside being way too long and going on useless side tangents) spares so little time concentrating on the devastating impact mental illness can have and so much time on… youtubers’ thoughts about Elisa’s death, that it’s frankly disgusting (”it didn’t make any sense”, disclaims some dude when a psychosis due to bipolar disorder & not taking her pills is mentioned as the likeliest reason for Elisa’s behaviour and later death). I know it’s a huge case on the internet, but it’s not an “unsolved mystery”, it’s a girl who struggled with mental health and ultimately didn’t make it. I understand the public interest, but at least have the decency to justify exploiting a dead person’s life and death somewhat instead of just making it a conspiracy theorist jerk circle.

I am really unsure about the documentary about the Cecil Hotel. I think there's something missing when it comes to Elisa Lam's death. It's really sad. I have my doubts that they told us the whole truth. I am curious what type of conversation took place with the transition of her getting her own room.
