Tonight I had to get out and feed my soul. For weeks I just haven’t been feeling it. Wahtever “it” is. My blackness needed to be recharged. Not that I’m confused with who I am, but just a little pick me up to put me back on track. I’m giving this self care thing some serious effort lately. I needed to surround myself with the sights and sounds and images of people that look like me…black folks
