Hello again interwebs

Hey hey. Remember us?

Been very quiet on the DOF front for the last year. The band while not dead has been on an extended hiatus as the four of us have been doing our own things respectively.

Luke has been busy with a solo project that is really taking off. Check out his stuff at Luke Carlino (facebook page). In addition to doing a small tour in the US, he's also played some amazing supports including Lowrider, Sleepmakeswaves, and the Whitlams and word on the street is he'll be releasing some more stuff in the not too distant future.

Phil has been very busy. Valiant Jones has called it a day, but achieved some great things in the bands short life. He is now heavily involved with long time mates and one of Adelaide's finest bands Grenhiatusadiers as lead bassman (jack of all trades really). Check out their page tomorrow as they're releasing the video for their latest single, 'Summer.'

Josh has joined Dead Bones as lead guitarist. The second Dead Bones EP was released a few months ago, and the lead track 'Holy Shit' got some kind attention from the folks at Triple J. Writing is underway for another release which will be recorded in 2015.

Brodie, being the true traveller he is has set up camp in Darwin for the last few months, and will be invading Europe again next year. Look out Germans, the curly haired beast that is Brodie Lock is coming!

So, why the update? We recorded a couple of tracks early this year that will be released very soon. We're pretty proud of these songs and can't wait to share them with you all. Stay tuned!

Power outages aren't the best for productivity when recording... Luckily everything survived..

All music tracking now done, and just vocals to do... Maybe a bit of tinkering on some random sounds and whatnot, but this is sounding big!

Ok, so we've been around a while, and admittedly been quite lazy on the social media front.

This blog aims to give you, our listeners, up to date with what's going on in our world, whether it's recording, playing shows, letting you know about upcoming tours and releases, and quite possibly (inevitable really) random shit that we get up to from time to time.
