We are all zombies in the machine eating the slop they’re providing us. The fat on our bodies represent the chains they hold us in our seats with. They lock us in our houses and deliver the poison to us. And then laugh as we gorge ourselves and consume their entertainment.

How are we going to break free?? We have to rid ourselves of the chains first. Teach our bodies to only take what it needs. Stop taking more than we need just for our own pleasures.

how to get over lyfting anxiety? :(

hi there!

lyfying anxiety sucks and i know the feeling all too well. the only way to get over it is to do it regularly.

this does not mean stuffing 100 things in your bag or anything, rather hit up a cheap store and slide a protein bar up your sleeve. find out what works, what doesn’t work, how you operate under stress, and most importantly- reflect on what you could’ve done better.

lyfting anxiety isn’t a bad thing - unless you look anxious. practice looking the part of a normal customer. go to a store with intent to buy something (and actually do) and study the way you behave and move through the store. try to follow this pattern when you do begin lyfting more frequently.

your anxiety will make you cautious- that’s a good thing. it’s only a problem when you physically look it.

hi there!! i’m a very beginner lyfter and i have a kinda dumb question: every lyfter tip i see says to grab your items and then conceal in a blind spot, but i’m kind of confused by that as wouldn’t staff/cameras see that you have it in hand and then it’s gone when you come out of a blind spot? i’ve only taken small things so far by palming some things and putting it in my pocket by pretending to reach for my phone, and the other day i made a blind spot by crouching over where the camera was pointing and stuffing a plush in my bag lol. does staff not normally pay attention to that kinda thing? i’d like to take bigger items but i have crazy bad anxiety and also am autistic so i need specific instruction lol

firstly that is so valid lol i get confused with instructions easily like it’s bad

when you conceal in a blind spot staff will not remember what you had UNLESS it is an item of high value or an item which is stolen frequently i recommend staying away from legos, pokemon, DND that kind of stuff

additionally if you are, for example, at s3ph0ra you must grab a basket and put in the stuff you want with decoy items so staff will not notice whatever items you actually wanted missing. afterwards feel free to leave the bag somewhere and if you must just tell a worker you forgot your wallet and to please hold your bag up front so you can come back and pay (which obviously you won’t lol)

when you are taking small stuff you will always want to hide it from staff and cameras even before you c0nceal. that means if you are taking lipstick take two out of the lipstick holder thingy, make sure one is positioned infront of the other and look around the store a little while longer. then you can conceal your item and walk back and put the decoy lipstick back on the shelf.

i will also say it heavily depends on how busy the store is. always aim for a happy medium where staff are tired and burnt out they likely will not care at all, but that does not mean you should be sloppy assume there is always a hidden camera / LP officer

hi- new lyfter. should i be worry about wrapped/sealed boxes having tags? i saw something a mini i liked in hot topic but i wasnt really sure if i should worry about tagging. PS. thank you for ur service queen

that’s a totally valid question and i found myself wondering the same thing as i was at hot topic today. Generally anything below the price of 50 dollars (although personally i’d be wary of anything over 30) within a boxed set has a higher potential of being tagged.

i don’t believe hot topic inconspicuously tags their merch or inside boxes and i believe it’s more so less alt weird kid stores (i am one of those just to be clear) who tag inside of boxes such as s3ph0ra

if it’s something mini you should be all good to go! if you are paranoid go into a blind spot wear a long sleeve shirt and hold the box with two hands (sorry i know this goes against some lifting tips but it works!) and hold the small box with your sleeve overlapping the bottom of the box. pull your sleeve up with your other hand and pretend you are checking the price or wtv and with your hidden hand underneath the sleeve open the box and dump the contents into your sleeve. then with your hidden hand attempt to make the bottom of the now opened box look flat and quickly lay it somewhere and get out

you’ll hear a lot of people on this app berate other lifters for not taking the boxes but personally, i don’t care at all i have not seen it make an impact unless you are unboxing a TV and running away with it lol

you mentioned “beginner stores” in one of your posts, what stores do you consider beginner?

beginner stores are stores with low employee to customer ratio, lower budget for cameras, and lower budget for LP

beginner stores to me may be different than yours as the same store may conduct their business differently through different countries and states.

in my personal experience i have found the d0llar store to be a jackpot beginner store. although some do now have security but that’s not always the case.

I have always found G4p to be super easy as they do not monitor changing rooms. however, you do need a magnet unless you plan on scoping out merch that isn’t tagged which is honestly recommended even if that’s not what i personally do.

tips for lifting from walmart / in general in 2024?

Hi!! First of all yay first question I love that for me.

Alright first and foremost your number one enemy at big chain stores such as W4lmart will be cameras & people (SA, LP, and ESPECIALLY customers). At my W4lmart the entire makeup section is absolutely covered in cameras which makes lifting over there extremely risky. However I will say- for lifting small products such as those take two and make it look like you’re only taking one (cover the first product with the second product) and go shop elsewhere. Don’t take too much time and go look at something else (clothing for example). Spend some time looking and conceal the products you want to lift whilst using the shirt as a makeshift blind spot- then check the price of the shirt- look at your decoy item as if you’re debating the price and then walk to put the makeup back. Wander the store a little while and if you run into an employee hand them the shirt and say you found it on the floor (if lp is watching it will look like you just changed your mind on the purchase of the shirt given they didn’t see you conceal of course) and then you can walk out. But that is just in my case because my Walmart is so heavily camera protected but you’ll notice I hit the big three- I tricked cameras, SA, LP, and customers.

Lifting is entirely circumstantial and different W4lmarts will have different structures and cameras. If your W4lmart has blind spots utilize them but don’t visit blind spots every five minutes & don’t avoid customers/people like the plague it looks suspicious. additionally do not visit the high loss section (makeup) and then go to an obscure section such as furniture. It will sus people out. Ask yourself- if you were going shopping to genuinely spend money- where would you go In the store? Follow that guideline to act as natural as possible

Now that cameras are out of the way tags are also a super important discussion. Retailers are getting sneaky with tags such as hard tags and RFIDS I highly advise you to throughly check every item (especially boxed items) for tags. A bit of a NSFW example however last time I was at $pencers I really wanted a sex toy but it was in a box I checked around thr box for RFIDs while pretending I was checking the price. After that I took the sex toy out of the box while pretending to look at the size of it whilst inconspicuously checking the inside of the box for tags aswell. I did notice SA hanging out in the corners of the store not watching me but just observing so I put it back in thr box hung it back up and didn’t lift anything that day- but now I know In the future that all I have to worry about when I go back is how to conceal it and avoiding cameras because I already did the work of checking for tags!!

Some of these tips can be a bit different depending on what exactly it is that you’re trying to lift but please ask if there’s anything in particular you want me to go more in depth on :)

The magnets I 🧬 from scamazon work so well the security tags came right off the clothes I want!! But I was so non discreet with those 😭 I got a changing room and was detagging and realized the hangers wouldn’t fit in my bag so I used the decoys to cover them and the SA asked if everything was alrigjt and If she could grab anything else I said no thank you and dropped both the empty hangers LOL thankfully she didn’t see and didn’t sus me out at all I put all the clothes I didn’t borrow baxk on the shelf and thanked her for her help as I left!! The nails are from sp1rit Hall0ween and omfg they sussed me BAD and the fake shelving actually made me laugh in their face I was gonna borrow a cute shirt from them but only got away with the nails
