Each member is:
Authentic.
Hard working.
Talented.
Dedicated.
And deserving.
These men have made a path for themselves built on years of practice and love for music. And that’s more than enough. If you can’t see that, then it’s your loss.
day6 is doing really well, just in general and they are doing well as artists and as people and as the universal lords of good taste and funniness and wholesomeness and handsomeness and coolness and cuteness and good musicness and I am excited for that, as we all should be.
things I like about sungjin;

the fact that he shaved his head randomly one day because he felt like it and then was like “I’m god I can literally do whatever the FUCK I want”
his busan accent and that one time he was on the radio and wonpil told him to say a specific series of words to see if he could speak in a seoul dialect and the second he said the first word wonpil said “go home”
when he wears a leather jacket and looks like that
he enjoys food a lot and has no intention of dieting
similarly has no intention of switching his body with any of the members because he likes himself
his growing confidence and self love, in addition to being vocal about this and advising my days to all love themselves and take care of themselves
the fact that he wasn’t even supposed to be in a band and only wanted to sing but found the love and passion he has for it now!!!!!
during his trainee days when he had to learn the guitar with no prior knowledge of music other than singing, but now answers the tumblr ask “what instruments can you play” with “everything!!!!!!!!!”

we’ve all been knew, but day6 makes me so happy. their music and discography aside, anytime they are together they always laugh or chuckle. they play and joke with each other in a way that’s just REGULAR. they don’t need to play a bunch of games to fill the time or step outside their comfort zone to give the audience a good time. they can just sit there in their regular boring clothes and be like “let’s get lunch” and my days would all be just as happy. most of their v-lives have just been about them eating and talking and singing and eating and singing and making songs. on radio programs they are generally the same, they just sit and talk but it’s still FUN!!!!!! they are fun guys with fun energy like they are attractive just talking
I love day6 man I really truly do. I know everyone has their own preference or whatever but time and time again these boys have truly displayed what it’s like to be a team. to create masterpieces together and grow together as people and as artists. through shoot me especially, they’ve consistently talked about much fun it was to make the album, how they like the songs and prior to releasing it talked about how expectant they were of it. when they talk about how they distribute lines, they don’t even need to think about it structurally. they know who’s voice could fit this part nicely, which member would sound the best, and they can do that because they’ve worked on music together for so long. to the point that during their musical production they’ll think “oh, so and so would sound so good singing this part!” they are so intuned with one another now and they’ve talked about times where they’ve struggled with songwriting, and spending day and nights just figuring out one song. If you watch their videos enough you’ll catch them talking about their music process very naturally. how sungjin created the chorus for I like you, their team contributions to 혼잣말, how wonpil sang the guide for ywb (and randomly came up with the name with the producer). to know that they started out completely clashing with one another, not really believing that the band would even work till now… one of the greatest teams in the universe is really so good. they’ve worked so hard to become who they are now like I love day6
I don’t know man, they say nobody is perfect but literally every member of day6 is perfect so that myth has already been busted first and foremost
good fuck literally fuck anybody that’s not day6 and not a my day…. the whole september month should just be labelled “day6 anniversary month” and well frankly? every single month should be labelled day6 month because they were ACTIVE for every single goddamn month like does that sound realistic to you???? the fancams of them @ their fanmeet are beyond unbelievable. the company posting that jae wouldn’t be able to go because of his health and then he SHOWS up because he didn’t want to miss it. all of them were literally crying over that and everyone missed him so much!!!!!!!! If that alone doesn’t solidify how strong their friendships are, what fucking does??? jae had probably been sick for some time, but even with him missing just one recording prior the members kept on mentioning him, doing little shout outs for him and hoping that he gets better. they truly cherish their time as a group together and shine the brightest when all of them are happily performing on stage. sungjin their literal FATHER saying how out of anybody jae would be the most upset for falling sick and reassuring him that “you don’t have to be sorry it’s okay” uh!!!!!! but is it really though like is day6 members being so loving, talented, sweet and holy really actually alright for the human population??? It’s not. each and every single member has displayed affection and love for one another, they’ve contributed and grown as a group for years and gotten through obstacles one after the other. they have been firm on creating their own music that represents them and genuinely appreciates the fans that love them. they’ve worked so incredibly hard these past three years and if anybody deserves admiration, acknowledgement, and literally every single award in the whole solar system it’s fucking DAY6!!!!!!!!!
day6 can literally DO anything… they can attempt and accomplish everything they set their minds to. they’re all capable, loving human beings who make everything seem so easy when it’s clear they break their backs behind the scenes for their goals. they breath the life into every single song they sing, whether it’s their own or someone else’s. they bring flavor and style to their recordings by being original, mature and appropriate. they know when to be casual and when to be professional like they just fucking know!!!!!!!!!!!! day6 embodies everything wholesome and truly great in the world and that’s the point in living

Sungjin has grown so confident and happy with himself that he shaved his head.
Jae has become comfortable and confident enough to stop wearing his glasses.
Young K has graduated college WHILE composing and writing lyrics in a very active band.
Wonpil has become comfortable enough to get super excited and extra on camera.
Dowoon grew from being super shy and reserved to Day6’s number one comedian.
I just really love how Day6 has grown.

I’m sorry but give me a full second to talk about how much I truly love sir sungjin. I’ve said it time and time again that regardless of all the videos I’ve seen of him, all the interviews I’ve read, all the performances I’ve loved from him there are always new things about sungjin that I grow to love. tonight, my loving sungjin meter which is always at a constant 1000% is like at 4500%. I just don’t know how he does it like hair are literally just THINGS and I know that but for him to be in the public eye and just cut if all off for no other reason than him wanting to do it is so…….. holy. he just did it because he wanted to and he knew that my days and day6 members would be behind him on doing that and obviously, hair grows back but in a world where everyone is so enamoured by looks and style he really just doesn’t care. he does things he wants, and knows full well that bitches alike myself will always be supportive of him and whatever he chooses to do. he’s fun, he’s handsome, he’s unique, he’s literally unmatchable on all levels and my love for sungjin only ever increases with every passing day. I love him very much like imagine the most powerful force in the whole world and my love for him is a good solid 900 levels above that.
I literally LOVE shoot me: youth part 1 with my whole entire living soul and every single song is virtually smashing my whole entire head in with the toilet seat. this is so funny, but as someone that is clearly highly invested in day6 sometimes I really feel like, there’s gotta be some sort of limit right??? there’s gotta be one song by day6 I don’t like…… but there’s none. I can literally find joy and love within every single one of their releases and just from their mini, I listen to the whole album on loop and find new things I like about each song. there’s just always something to talk about!!!!!!!!!! this is why it’s so hard for me to cope with them releasing 6 tracks all at once because having to digest two songs a month was already tough and now theres SIX!!!!!!! SIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m just saying that day6 should be able to perform all 7 of their songs (yeah even the instrumental) off of their 3rd mini album shoot me: youth part 1 (only $6.99 on itunes) on their comeback stages. It just makes sense and they deserve to because shoot me slaps HARD but so does every other song on the album. I know they perform 혼잣말 in concerts but if they did it on one of their comeback stages, even if it was just half the song my mind would explode. It would be like obliterated.
I’m not saying I need wonpil to go on king of masked singer, but I NEED wonpil to go on king of masked singer. It would be so obvious that it’s him to my days but to peasants??? they don’t know??? someone with vocals as unique n stylistic as his needs to be put up on stage and broadcasted to the whole entire universe. It’s gonna happen and when it does then it’s over for all you bitches (I’m also one of those bitches)

I………. will commit arson for sungjin if he asked me to like no question about it I’ll do it, but I as his number one fan and potential partner in crime am not 100% enjoying the fact that his hair is covering his whole forehead. It’s like, not the optimal sungjin and I really wished the stylists would fucking call me before they even TOUCHED his hair because I know best. his arcade live? that’s the optimal sungjin and you know I’m fine with them dying his hair whatever color because he can do anything but they chopped so much of it off and now it’s back to what it had been for several comebacks already and SOMETIMES???? It’s nice to step out of the box like how he was in his arcade live. that cut would’ve been especially nice for this comeback seeing as wonpil’s hair is RED and gels his hair up….. It is that hard for jyp to just call me and discuss???? I can pay the long distance fee I’ll do that to ensure sungjin looks the best. please call me and stop cutting his hair.
