Final composition and sculpture. I believe the final form demonstrates the combination of the uncontrollable creation of the glass coupled with the intentional forms of the plaster above it. The pedestal’s height allows the viewer to see into the work from slightly above but still enough to see the unusual forms of the slumped glass below. The fluidity in both the translucent coating and the motion of the bottle help to illuminate the overarching concept of containment and expulsion.
