Fall Meetup Dates

So that last poll wasn't quite as definitive as we'd hoped, and the team is having concerns about finding a spot to meet up on Halloween evening that's not crazy busy and noisy. We're pitting it against an alternative, which is more than a week before Thanksgiving, but still maybe a little close. Let us know what you think!

I'm taking this opportunity to scream about the @dbdadc meetup earlier this month! I am SO glad I could attend. It was such a joy to visit my dear DC friends again and meet more wonderful fandom friends in person AND make NEW fandom friends in person!!!

I'm so incredibly grateful and not at all surprised at how absolutely kind, supportive, and delightful everyone was. <3 Looking forward to doing more with friends (current & future!) in times to come!

Museums were visited! Fun was had! New friends were hugged! Everyone got home safe.

Introducing the Dead Boy Detectives fandom meetup in Washington, D.C.

This will probably be a small, casual weekend get-together in DC in early 2026. The tentative schedule at this point (EDIT: new info!) is to visit a museum Saturday afternoon, dinner and board games at a bar that evening, and then Sunday spend some time outdoors before visiting a second museum.

Our tentative dates are April 18-19, 2026. That weekend should avoid major holidays, and provide a good chance of pleasant weather.
