Port Townsend Round 2???

Hello folks! A few people have reached out to me asking if there will be another North America based meetup (either in Port Townsend or Vancouver). I wanted to gage interest to see if people are interested. If so, I am up for arranging something later this year or early next year. Fall this year would be great, but I don't want to overlap the London one.

If you'd be interested, please comment on this post or DM or something to show your interest. Please let me know if you'd prefer Port townsend, Vancouver, or either. And if you prefer Fall 2026 or Spring 2027 or either).

Port Townsend Meetup-Locations

For those planning to attend the Port Townsend Meetup, we now have locations!!!

Saturday, we'll be meeting up at Chetzomoka Park Gazebo for the initial meetup and hangout before the scavenger hunt. This is an outdoor area/park. There are paths, though not directly up to the gazebo.

Sunday, we'll be hanging out at the Pope Marine Building for a watch party, game day, and trinket trading!

Port Townsend Meetup - Watch Party

Second activity announcement! We have commendeered (rented) a space to hang out for a day...I mean, we have an offi e space to review old cases! Thats important for any successful detective agency!

In other terms, we'll be hosting a watch party!!! All 8 episodes (cause there was a vote on that when we first decided to do this meetup)!!

The watch party will be Sunday Oct. 19! It'll be a full day thing, but don't worry, for those who aren't up for that, there will be other activities to spend your time on! Some other ways to build those detective skills maybe...

I know we did an interest form before for the meet-up to gauge general interest. We now have an actual attendance form for people to complete. This is due to multiple people since then either needing to drop out or saying they are now attending. Plus, the initial interest form didn't include information for contact and some other items. If you are intending to come, please complete this attendance form! (Again, this is a NEW form from the previous interest form. If you completed the interest form before, you still need to complete this NEW form.) As always, if you have any questions, please message.

Clarifying a little wording issue here. If you don't complete the form by today, that's fine. The 9/15 is a cut off so I can start ordering food and ensuring we have the correct number of prizes. If you see this after 9/15 and still wanna join, PLEASE DO! We'd love to have you. We still request you fill out the form and maybe message me. We can make changes to food orders for a while and we do plan to bring a few extra prizes in case people join last minute. So don't worry too much about the deadline. All are still welcome!

Hello! First of all, major apologies! I know you sent this a while ago. The ADHD hit hard - I saw this, intended to reply to you via DM but wasn't able to with permissions, then completely forgot to just reply this way. So, apologies. ADHD and bad at socials is not the best combination. I would love to hear any ideas you have for activities. We have a schedule in place that we'll be posting next week for folks, but we are also trying to have a list of activities for people to do in the area after the meet-up or if they plan to be there extra days. Also, please let me know if you or the others from your discord have any questions! Would be happy to provide any info I can!

Port Townsend Meetup - Trinket Trade!

We all know that everyone here has a little bit of crow in them and loves the shinies. And of course, you never know what you'll find in your bag-of-tricks or what can come in handy on a case! And trading things is always a good time.

So we'll have a little trinket trade area set up in the temporary office, just for this purpose!!! If you want to bring trinkets to trade, have at it! There might even be a bag-of-tricks you can test your luck with...if we can figure out how to work it...we've lost so many pennies down there.

(This is in the same vein as cons and renn faires, so think small inexpensive. Please don't feel pressure to bring pricey things or enough for everyone or professional grade whatever. People often trade little pins or buttons or even just fake coins! Even ribbons! And don't worry if you have nothing - if you participate in the scavenger hunt, I can guarantee you'll have a trinket or two to trade.)

Port Townsend Meetup - Game Day!

Another activity announcement for all those joining us for the Port Townsend Meetup.

As we mentioned in our previous post, we've rented out a space to review old cases (Watch Party). The space is big enough for us to have some fun with new cases...or really just whatever clue games we can manage to raid from the clue closet...cupboard...whatever. We also grabbed a few non-clue mystery games as well!!!

Port Townsend of Bust - Scavenger Hunt + Discord

(I am so late...Apologies. I forgot to post on all the platforms and this one got missed.)

Announcing the Port Townsend Branch of the Dead Boy Detectives Agency! The main agency had to leave Port Townsend before they could resolve all its mysteries. Port Townsend does seem to be a "mecca for troubled ghosts", as Crystal put it. So we'll need some help! And that's going to be all of you!

In other words, we'll be doing a case themed scavenger hunt at the meet-up. All who come are welcome to participate.
