BRIZZY I'm not really sure where to even begin with this trip. It started at 6:30am when I landed in Brisbane and Nat picked me up. Exhausted from the late night before, I got straight to sleeping once we got to her house. I had to get plenty of rest because that night was her 21st birthday party and things were about to get rowdy. After a couple of power hours on the pillows, I woke up to some strange voices in the living room. Little did I know these voices were two gay guys that were about to be my new best friends.
As the evening progressed more people started to show up and get ready to go to her party. Birthday girl Nat looked absolutely stunning in her gold dress and soon enough the time came to go to the venue.
I hardly saw Birthday Girl that night but my new best friends and I had a blast. We all became pretty close that night - but maybe some more than others as we soon found out in the morning. We danced like no body was watching - although everyone was probably staring - and laughed until we cried.
The next day was a bit slower than the last, but at night I got to go to Nat's work Christmas party at a Japanese restaurant. SO good.
Monday was my last day up there and also her actual birthday. I took her out to lunch and we got Mani-Pedis downtown. All in all a fabulous weekend and only 9 more days till she comes to visit in Sydney!
HECTIC night on the town with my girl. Going to miss her so bad.
The beauties at work!
Mamma wishes she were in Australia
Got to dress up like King Kong on my last promo gig.
Didn't even bother me that it was pushin over 80 degrees that day... I got paid FOURTY BUCKS AN HOUR (for four hours)
And we saw the Gangnam Style guy! :)
Aussies
So I have officially been here for five months now, and I have come to realize that Australians are very lazy. They even get tired after saying the entire word of "mosquitoes" so they shorten it to "mossies" ...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Yesterday I had 11 friends join me for a feast to celebrate Turkey Day Australian style!
It was absolutely delicious and I am SO thankful it turned out well, because I was terrified to be able to pull it off.
In the end, everyone had a full belly and vowed that their new favorite holiday was Thanksgiving :)
Best friend's mamma got to come visit Sydney for a week! Walked the Harbour Bridge with her :)
