I can definitely get behind fruitcake, but I can't really see Sprout and Cosmo as either fully platonic or fully romantic. To me, they're like... secret third thing. Something deeper. "Dating? WORSE" type shit. Codependency scale broken from how codependent that strawberry is type shit. I need you to feel real type shit. Arthur why the fuck did you write these two this way type shit.

I also see Finn and Shrimpo as neither fully platonic nor romantic, but in a different fashion, hrm... I'll get into it at some point. I have many headcanons for that crustacean to get through first.
